Starsis:The entity of light is what you'd think his personality is like. A very calm, level headed man, Starsis is the very definition of a light god, always doing what's right and protecting those whom need protecting. In the original Alta Heroes timeline, the light entity was their mentor and at times like the father most of them never had, always giving them advice and guidance whenever that need of theirs arises. Settling down in Fic-City with the team, Starsis lives a reclusive life doing whatever he pleases while also going out and helping others. He's also friends with a number of entities and an enemy to many others for various reasons. His ultimate flaw is the inherent darkness living inside him as Starsis does feel the strong urge to kill those whom have done unspeakable wrongs, his brother Evilkin being one of those people, as well as his difficult past which he tries to hide from those closest to him out of fear of them losing faith in him. I decided to use that trait of his as one of his defining traits as it does flip the whole light-darkness dynamic on its head. I mean, white represents light and black represents darkness. Take two opposite people, one whose arrogant and bold with a good heart, one whose shy and withdrawn with pent up anger growing inside him, and you get the millennium long struggle between two brothers whom had done their part in creating the conflict in the Alta Heroes first appearance.
Evilkin:When we think of darkness, we associate the concept with anger, hatred, and cruelty among many others. Evilkin's very appearance and demeanor fits that description. An entity capable of destroying whatever is in his path, his lost that chance when his powers were weakened severely during a battle with Starsis. Enraged, he sent his minions to collect the shards of the Crystal of Power so he can get his full power back and kill his brother once and for all. Originally, his story would've ended with the dark entity being sealed away forever but I feel the way the two brothers' story ended in The Alta Heroes is much more satisfying for a number of reasons. One, it gives us a morally grey area to consider when we think of the traditional concepts of light and darkness. Two, it shows how both of the brothers are not all that they appear to be. Three, this conclusion gives the two brothers a chance at healing the scars they've inflicted onto each other and start over.
