Aubrey:Positivity and Pokémon have been a huge part of Aubrey Stone's life. In fact, as shown in episode nine of the main series;"Our Heroes", she keeps a journal for herself where she writes down the positives that've happened in her day first before getting to the negatives of her day. Like the other Alta Heroes, whom had different coping mechanisms to escape the hardships they were dealing with in their lives, Aubrey's two mechanisms tried their hardest to help her deal with the ostracizing and tumultuous environment she had been placed under as evidenced by her unstable family and lonely school life. Aubrey is very strong willed and compassionate but doesn't let her kindness become her weakness due to the yellow hooded girl understanding that people aren't perfect but also taking into account that people need to be held accountable for their actions. For her character, I've taken inspiration from the fact that sometimes the most happiest, brightest people we know can hide the ugliest of scars. It's the heartbreaking fact that those labeled as the "goody two shoes" who always do the right thing, make people smile, and never seem down for any reason actually hide a lot of pain inside. It's infuriating that these kids, these adults, people who try their best to be good people get almost nothing good back in return. For whatever reason for their tormentor's behavior, be that they're jealous of that person, they think they're trying to help that person do something better in life, or anything relating to them hurting that person in any way, shape, or form, it's still the things they do to the person whose trying to please them that make them the things they're trying to oppose. Aubrey's family is no exception as they only cared about maintaining their image of a positive, fun loving family and making sure no one found out the ugly truth of their anger, hatred, and despair towards each other being hidden behind their white picket fence and spotless house. Eventually, it all fell apart for them the day Aubrey ran away from their toxic environment and was summoned by Starsis, the light entity, where the rest is history. After learning it was ok to show her uncomfortableness in stressful situations, as well as the other trials from the journey she and the team conquered, Aubrey had began feeling more better about herself and had an actual reason to truly be happy besides her two coping mechanisms. The power of super speed came from her trait of being a fast reactor and counting the fact that she is very energetic though originally she would've had Pikachu's powers but I couldn't do that so I went with the next best thing, also because I didn't want to get copyrighted by Nintendo. Though, it would've been a dream come true for her if she had those abilities but it's not like she's complaining about her current abilities.
