Astraphobia

You are driving on a long highway. It is raining cats and dogs, and you can’t see past a few meters ahead of your car. The grey sky looms over the horizon, absence of sunlight. Then you notice you’re the only person driving down the road. Not one single vehicle can be seen even on the opposite lane.

You turn on the radio but there’s nothing on. Your preset stations transmit nothing but white noise. And your phone has no reception. It feels like nothing exists in this world except you, your car and the storm above you.
Lightning flashes inside the colossal clouds. In that split second you feel insignificantly small, your soul is drowning in a dreadful abyss; because you see something in the clouds.

The flash illuminates what appears to be a silhouette of massive tentacles squirming about. The earth shattering rumble you hear is not thunder.
