People say cats can see beyond our dimension. Simply put, they can see ghosts. No wonder the ancient Egyptians worshipped these furry creatures. They were deemed sacred; one of the representations of the Gods. Black cats are associated with witches and dark magic. If you come across a black cat, it means bad luck for you. Even in the movie “Constantine”, the protagonist says cats are already half-way into hell.
When these cute animals sense danger, they raised their tails up like flag post and their fur prickled, and they bend their bodies, just like my cute Tompok which had been snarling towards something behind me on the bed. It’s been doing that for almost a minute. I lay still and never moved a muscle.
God damn you, Tompok. Then she turned around and dashed out. Maybe it’s already gone now. Then my mattress bounced like something behind me stirred.
