i woke up standing next to Hunter who was fast a sleep the sun was rising the crop we where in was destroyed from us i walked over to the stream of water and got a drink from it the brisk cold water was soothing to my throat the halter got wet from the water i walked away from the water bank and over to Hunter who was still sleeping i nuzzled him and his eyes opened he lifted his head and nuzzled me back we started walking back to the barn side by side once we got there we realized Glenn was freaking out again we just went past him and into our stalls where we ate the oats that where left there he was shocked "well my my my" he chuckled "you two love birds going on a midnight stroll together" my ears pricked up "what!?" i neigh at him hunter has the same look as i do Fay and Lias are laughing their heads off at our expressions i stick my head down in embarrassment i could still hear them laughing but Rosetta came running in "i need her trained asap there's a contest tomorrow but storm isn't well" she said crying i put my head out of my stall she ran over to me and hugged my neck "please Lotta" she pleaded "don't be rough with her and sure we can train her" Glenn smiled he clipped a lead onto my halter and led me to the 'tack room' where they put the 'saddle' and bridal on me and we went down to the beach "why can't we train at the arena dad?" she asked "well its just in case she throws you" he chuckled we stopped walking and she came to my side i was a little worried from last time "right mount her" he called out she put her foot in the steer up and got up i felt the weight in the saddle just like last time. she gripped the reins "right just click and she'll move i trained her to it" he said and she clucked once and i walked i swayed side to side as i walked on the uneven sand "alright now a little faster" he said "okay" she replied before clucking again and i went at a trot this time she moved with my body i started to get a bit nervous when she clucked again and i cantered she gently turned me so we didn't run into the water but another rider and their horse galloped past us making her quickly steer me out of the way reminding me off last time "careful you have scared her a bit try to slow down" Glenn said with worry i thrashed my head as she pulled a bit on the reins i went to a trot one again she moved with my body "alright there's a log ahead try to make the jump but if she throws you remember to let go of the reins" he called out she gently steer me in the direction of the log then clucked twice throwing me into a gallop i got a bit scared as she clutched my sides with her legs and held the reins tighter then i remembered last time i was too close to the jump now to stop and i was to scared to jump so i skidded to a halt throwing her into the sand next to the log i just stood there waiting for her reaction but she just got up and started laughing "dad you where right" she laughed "what am i not right about" he chuckled she came back over to me and got back on and steered me around and we went at a gallop towards the log again i knew i had to jump this time so as soon as we where near it i jumped and we made it "YES!" she cooed with joy Glenn got on the back and we cantered to the arena it was quite heavy to carry them both at the same time but i was to happy to make a stir about it once we where in Glenn got off and closed the gate then he set up some jumps we jumped them with ease and i was getting better at jumping by the hour at the start i kept knocking them down but know when i jump i don't even knock the top one down. we where doing one more round i galloped towards the jump she loosened her body and i jumped easily over it not knocking one thing down i whinnied with joy and i did a trot over to Glenn "might as well leave em up for training early tomorrow" he said and we all walked to the tack room my hoofs clacked on the cement floor as we went through the barn and into the tack room making hunter perk his ears up and look out his stall at me "where are you going now baby girl?" he whined "ill be back soon" i said back well all they could hear was us whinnying to each other we went in the tack room Glenn took the bridal off me and replaced it with my peach colored halter then he did the rest but he put a blanket and polo wraps on me "so she doesn't get too dirty or scratched during the night" Glenn said before leading me too my stall i went in and he took the halter off then left with Rosetta "are we going on another midnight stroll because if we are we should take Fay and Lias with us" he said "i have a jumping contest tomorrow so i have to get some sleep, sorry but goodnight" i said his face turned from a smile to just plain old disappointment he turned and faced the wall "goodnight" he said without looking at me i felt bad but i had other issues to deal with tomorrow so i went to sleep.
