Ottawa

i was so tired from the running walking and trotting my legs where sore and my mouth throbbed from all the yanking and pulling since she had put the normal bridal back on. we walked through the land that seemed to have no grass and a lot of horse hoof prints they clucked three times and we galloped towards the huge tent and we slowed to a trot "we are finally here those days felt longer" he said and adeline sighed with relief "i'm so tired, i bet they are too" she chuckled as she pat my side and we stopped at the door they got off and tied our reins to a post then walked in i looked at gorden who looked tired as well i fell a sleep soon enough. i woke up to adeline nudging me "come on girl, you can go to the pasture now and sleep" she said and led me to a huge pasture that had more horses in one place than i had ever seen she took all the tack off and my back was irritated from it being there so long we walked for three days straight no sleep and barely any food but good enough water she threw a huge bale of hay into the pasture and broke it up it spread across the pasture giving us something to graze on but i fell straight back to sleep. about five hours later i awoke to a loud sound of hoofs running everywhere i opened my eyes and many horses and their riders where galloping around together training gorden was watching them as well but dean and adeline sat on the fencing "okey now march together if your horse tried to run ahead grip him or her with your legs tighter" he yell from the fence i came over to adeline and stuck my nose in her pocket in search of something and i found it a few sugar cubes and a packet of horse treats i grabbed them quickly and took off she quickly ran after me but i ran into the horses they tried their hardest to stop but we rammed into each other the horse went straight under me as i was knocked over i heard a few yelling voices i looked around and the human had got stuck under me when i slid over the other horse my legs where sore i looked at the other horse that was on the ground huffing adeline rushed to me and dean ran to the other horse adeline checked me over then was trying to heave me up off the man under me as he screamed in pain i got to my feat with a struggle the man quickly got away from me his legs where crushed and my legs had cuts all over them i had sprained my back left leg from the force of being knocked over it hurt like hell dean managed to get the other horse up but she had it worse her leg was broken "dumb mare" the man yelled at me i limped over to the mare "i'm sorry" i said to her "my name is Faith" she replied "i'm Lotta, but are you going to be okey?" i asked "i don't know but if it gets me away from here i'm fine with it thank you" she said and hugged me "come on girl time to take the trip to heaven" another man said and put a halter on her then took all her tack off and led her away to a truck with she got on and they drove away her shiny brown coat disappeared into the distance i neighed to her adeline slipped a halter on me when a man on a dun stallion came along "hey did you even train that mare?" he asked "yes this was just an accident" she replied the man huffed and trotted away "we have to got to the war today no more slip ups" she told me in a harsh tone before getting me tacked up dean did the same with gorden the metal plates shin off us and we went out of the pasture every horse following soon after us "here we go" gorden said out loud as we started galloping in a direction our hoofs thundering up the steep hill when we came to the top i could see a bunch of other horses standing together with their riders they all had metal plates as well they started charging towards us as every human yelled something and put their guns towards them "no matter what keep running don't stop" gorden yelled to me through the racket we where getting closer and there was loud bangs many horses got hurt and some died most humans got shot off their horses or very hurt i made it through without a wound but it felt like their was no weight on me i looked and adeline had fallen off she was on the ground in pain i flung around even though there was horses coming towards me and i went to her side she was groaning in pain holding her shoulder she grabbed my saddle and pulled herself up when we looked at dean he was shooting his way our of a crowd on gorden who for once looked scared for his life but the rivals brought down a cage drawn by four horses in the cage was a huge bear bigger than a horse the humans eager to get towards it but we where scared adeline whipped me towards it eager as the rest when the cage opened the bear leaped out and attacked many horses and humans the horses that drew the cage ran away from it but he caught up to them and attacked three the fourth got away the bear turned to face gorden who stopped in his tracks "NO!" i screamed and ran towards them "over here!" i yelled getting the bears attention he turned to face me and started running at me i whipped around and was running for my life the bear soon fell to the ground as many shot at him i was out of breath when i felt something hit my side and from then it was all pain i screamed in pain i looked and a bullet had just missed my side but still made a deep scrape gorden ran towards me with dean on him "are you okey" he asked me he had a few scrapes on him some where deep i nodded "time for the long haul home" adeline said and we started our trip to the camp the few horses that made it through followed along with their riders. when we reached camp people where waiting for us i stopped and adeline got off a person came over to me and treated my wounds then groomed me and took the tack off i looked at gorden who was having the same done to him i relaxed a bit and brushed away at my coat leaving it shiny trucks arrived to pick us up i could hear adeline and dean talking from the back "dean we should sell them and get out of the horse business i want to start a family" she whined "ill think about it" he replied and the rest of the way was silence when the truck stopped we arrived home i could hear archer and lucky whining from the stall i yanked the lead rope out of the mans hands and ran for them and there was my baby's well they aren't baby's but i call them that i fiddled with the lock wanting to get in but it would not open so i nuzzled them stretching my neck as far as i would go over the stall door dean walked over and opened the door for me i rushed in and hugged them "still motherly even though they are a year old most mares would have not cared about their young no more" he chuckled "yeah well that's not me" i whinnied at him "mum where were you all this time" archer asked me "someplace i never want any other horse to go" i replied and fell a sleep lucky rested her head on my back and archer kept his head under mine still my Baby's~.
