We arrived at the so called studs but it was three hours away, they got me out of the trailer and we started walking towards the gates my feet clacking on the gravel the gates opened for us it smelt like boys which was a horrible musk some part of me wanted to explore this place and find them but the other wanted to get the hell out of here i reared up and stamped my front feet down in frustration i don't know what i want to do a man walked out and greeted the lady by shaking her hand "this must be the girl i heard about" the man smiled and gave me a pat. two heavily pregnant horses where being led to a trailer i watched as they painfully got up on the ramp "alright we will test her with the teaser once she has settled here" he said and we started walking inside the gates "i'm sorry whats a teaser?" she asked him "they tell us if she is in heat or not" he replied we where near the stables when a dog came bounding over panting "this is Ryley he is the nicest dog you'll ever meet here" the man said and gave the large dog a pat "alright lets get her to her stall" the man laughed and we went into the barn many mares and stallions where in here the stallions stuck their heads out of their stalls as we walked past when i heard a loud neigh and running a palomino stallion was running towards me the man quickly grabbed the lead and pulled me into a stall shutting it the stallion reared up before slammed down "calm down its okey" the man soothed he calmed down and the man led him back to his stall "that was a close one" he chuckled and got me out of the stall "right to her stall" we walked down the halls till we came across a large one that i was led into "alright halter must be kept on in case we need to move her quickly but the lead can be taken off" he said and she took the lead off but left the halter "tomorrow ill have her tested" he said "okey but i have to go" she replied "bye Lotta" she said before leaving, wait how did she know my name the man left me in the stall and went to his work i grazed on the hay they left me it was yummy but not the same as the fresh grass that was at Liam's farm. i paced the stall a bit bored when i heard clacking down the hall i looked and there was a horse greeting everyone a nice appaloosa no humans around him he walked on his own time "hi, your new" he said as he got to my stall i backed away from the stall door a bit "it's okey i wont hurt you" he soothed as he stuck his head in the stall "how come you can move without someone leading you?" i asked him "because i was gelded i don't cause any harm" he smiled "hey!, get moving she is new let her settle" i heard a man say while clapping loudly he moved away from my stall quickly the man followed him the sun was in the center of the sky blazing heat onto the barn heating it up in here i kicked at the back door trying to open it i craved for some fresh air but it would not budge i went to the stall door and fiddled with the latch it flung open i went the other way and left the barn the fresh air hit me i loved it i decided i would explore this place trotting down the place when i saw a field i galloped towards it jumping it but it stung me when a bit accidentally touched my leg i landed with a bit of a jolt making my back legs flip over my head and my front legs slipped backwards making me land hard on my back a tear ran to my eyes as the pain coursed through me i saw a horse walking towards me "what are you doing on your back?" he asked i said sheepishly in embarrassment "i didn't jump it properly" then got up he chuckled and smiled "wait are you that new girl?" he asked "yeah, what is this place" i asked "you will find out soon enough" he smirked "HORSE LOOSE!" i heard a person yelling and they came in shooing him off and clipping a lead to my halter then leading me out "i'm sick of being told where to go and what to do!" i said and galloped out of the humans reach "We got a runner!" the person yelled and two people on horse back spread out trying to catch me i galloped around the field along the fence line they where catching up but i didn't care i just enjoyed the wind blowing at me i saw the fence getting closer so i braced myself to jump higher my back legs pushing me off the ground i held my front legs as close as i could to myself before extending them to land but i hit the fence again with my back legs the pain went through me but i landed better the man from before stood in my path i skidded to a halt my haunches sliding across the dirt as i tried to stop but i stopped just in front of him my breathing blowing at his hair he grabbed the lead so i stood up properly "get the teaser ready" he demanded and the people scattered to the barn he started leading me somewhere. he stooped at two walls they where half my size before i heard the squealing and neighing of a horse coming this way he faced my head the opposite way of the sound i could hear him right behind me but the wall separated us i could feel his breathing and his squealing became higher, a part of me didn't want to move i turned to look at him and he was excited it was the same palomino but he was sniffing my haunches "alright she is in heat" the man said and patted me i noticed my tail would not go down they led him away but i could hear his neighs fading "alright i guess we are doing to today" he smiled at me "get Alex prepped" he called out to the people and started leading me to the tack room where ropes where tied from my back legs to my chest my tail was wrapped up as well then he lead me to a wall that had a concrete floor i could hear clacking nearby.
Three month time skip brought to you by Equine Tack
i paced my stall today they where giving me a blood test and he arrived the vet walked in with a kit and another person with a lead rope he made me stand still while the vet drew blood it hurt a bit but it was over soon he gave me a carrot for staying still which i munched down before he let me into the girls pasture which i ran around in with all the other mares i felt so energetic.
