Hi guys!

So it's been over a year since I ended this story, and a while ago, I finished the third and last installment of the series. I hope you guys enjoyed it and I loved all the support!

So here are some facts about the book that have never EVER seen the light of day.

Until now.

1. The story was never going to have a Sadie in it, but I decided against the fact because I needed Mat to have a lady. #madie for life.

2. Rebecca was never going to become Mitch's love interest, but I made it that way for twisty purposes.

3. I planned on Mat dying in the first book. oops..?

4. I asked a fan if she liked the idea of Jerome and Mat being together. We all know how that turned out ;)

5. Reegan was never originally going to have Mat Jr., but I was like "man, babies" and bam little Mathew was born.

6. I never planned Sadie to commit suicide when I first was planning this story. It was a random thought I had in my English class and I thought it would be a good twist.

7. Rob and Sadie Probst were never supposed to be born tbh.

8. Jason was supposed to date another lady, but I decided to go with Rebecca for PLOT TWISTYS!

9. I was going to have Ty (Deadlox) come out as gay and date Gizzy or something. I cut that out.

10. I wanted Adam and Alesa to have another baby, and I was planning on twins, but I decided against that and just had little Grace instead.

11. The plot twisty-tie at the end of book three was intentional. I have planned it since the beginning.

12. Reegan was supposed to die in book two after she found out she was pregnant but I felt nice and let her live.

13. Jerome wasn't supposed to kill himself in book three. I was going to write it as a car crash, but I wanted like a "Romeo and Juliet" type feel. TADA

14. I based Tris and Lauren off of me and my friend Gabe who is like a foot and a half taller than me. And along with that fact, I was going to write that they broke up in book three but I was playing God in my book and decided against it.

15. Dusk is based of my sister Max.

16. Dustin was a character I made up in my 8th grade math class after talking to my friend Austin.

17. Dusk and Dustin were going to make an appearance at the "funeral" of Chris and Tyler but that never happened.

18. Tyler and Kyle were supposed to be gay in book one.

19. I never really planned to have Sam die.

20. Graham was meant to marry Reegan, not Mitch. #raham for life yo.

21. Sadie was going to meet Reegan before she died, but never did.

22. I completely forgot about Reegan's scar until book three.

23. Chris is a character suggestion from a fan.

24. Chris and Tyler were meant to be enemies, not lovers.

25. Phoenix happened when Jerome walked in on Chris and Tyler doing the diddly do but I was going to write it as a miscarriage. you're welcome.

26. A lot of the tragedies I come up with are from either the news, my mind, or the internet. Damn you Tumblr!

27. I wrote "doodz" on purpose. I get very mad when people try to correct me. That's how they spelt in on Jerome and Mitch's channels and I'm keeping it that way.

28. In book two, Trinity was meant to be Mat's love interest for the rest of the series, but I decided against it.

28.5 Trin is based of my neighbor Tiffany.

29. Tris and Lauren were never supposed to move in with Dusty, Dusk, and Mitch.

30. Lauren's dad was going to kill Tris.

31. I was going to have Alesa and Adam get a divorce in book three. Also decided against it. They're seriously too cute like omg.

32. Reegan was going to get killed my the kidnapper in book one.

33. Graham was just a character I made up off the top of my head in the moment of writing that chapter.

34. I listened to a lot of Green Day and Skillet while writing book one, All Time Low and Bring Me the Horizon while writing book two, and 5SOS, Twenty One Pilots, Panic At The Disco, and All Time Low while writing book three.

35. I like to write about death, that's why there was so much.

36. Yes I will become and author.

37. Graham was going to die in book three after Mitch and Reegan's marriage.

38. Mat was going to die in the third book, not in the second.

39. Rebecca was going to have an overprotective brother come in.

40. When Rebecca got pregnant, Sadie was supposed to be a stillborn and Rob have down syndrome, but I decided against that option as well.

41. Jason and Rebecca were never supposed to be at Mat's deathbed.

42. When I wrote the plot for book two, Mat was going to move in with Adam in Washington with Reegs and Graham-Cracker, but I cut that because I didn't want to confuse people more than I already had.

43. MITCH WAS SUPPOSED TO DIE IN BOOK TWO.

44. I let my mind flow free while writing the part where Mat goes into the coma and it just happened.

45. Going onto the coma thing, Mat wasn't supposed to go into a nine year coma. He was going to die instead of slip into a coma, which he does later in book two.

46. The car crash in book two was intentional.

47. I cried writing the part when Reegan got shot.

48. I felt violent one night and was going to make Kyle kill Tyler for stealing his woman in book one.

49. Shelby and Dar were going to move in together.

50. There was supposed to be a book four, AND five, but I decided against both and added the plot twist to book three instead.

And those are 50 (and 1/2) facts about the Don't Leave series. Thanks for reading!
