"Oh why the heck not. Sign me in." -I said with an excited voice. Even tho I don't like going out it's been a long time since I tasted alcohol.
"Told ya she was a whole lot of fun." -Molly jumped around, holding my hand and pulling me in the direction of the club.

I'm dancing like I never danced before. Music sucks but all I hear is the killing beat in the back so I don't care about the genre anyway. Few shots really knocked me down. Not fully but enough to make me not care about the people around. I didn't eat this whole day and I didn't know it will hit me this fast. I felt like I was alone in there. Just me and the beat. I didn't care if I dance awfully or good. I just danced like I felt. Then something stopped me.

"Hey Ro, Molly said you were in town so I came to say hi." -a male voice that was trying to override the music spoke to me. His voice I didn't recognize. It was mature, deep and seductive.

"Hey you." -I really didn't know who it was.

"Don't you remember me? Boy who would defend you from all the other boys when they would teas you? Boy who came to your rescue when you fell down the bike?

"Mason! Hey! I'm so sorry I didn't recognize you. You matured. Wanna grab a drink?"

"Always with you Ro."-He said with a wide pretty smile on his face showing off his perfect white teeth.

We took some shots and I was done. Normally I don't drink it. It tastes awful and you can't disagree with me on this one. Most of my highly inelegant peers drink only to show that they are valid. They think if they are splashed with vodka and they are throwing themselves at others they will be accepted. They would be uplifted in society. We live like we are in a God damn jungle full of underbred people running around and competing over irrelevant stuff. We let stuff like alcohol, drugs, cigarettes control our lives. Hey, drink some beer or something fiercer to loosen up they say. Well, guess what. You can go over to that girl or that boy not smelling like a piece of walking shit and win them over with actually making some sense when talking. But of course, some people just love the way alcohol makes them go wild. And after they had an inebriated conversation with opposite sex they go and fuck. They don't sleep together, make love or any of this seemly nicknames for propagation. No. They fuck.

"Do u want to dance with me?"-Mason said.

       "Sure."- I replied.

We walked in the crowd of people and started dancing. He was behind me and his hands started to move towards my hips. I can't say I didn't like it but I can't say I liked it either. But I decided to be someone else for the night si I put my arms around his neck. All of the sudden he turned me around and started slow dancing with me even tho it was hard to beat playing. I melted and I'm pretty sure my eyes had sparkles in them.

I looked at his eyes which were attached on mine and we danced the whole night. Until the incident. He was going to say something but then his eyes met something else. He was looking at it like he was about to rip someones throat out.

"Wait here for a moment. I'll be right back." -saying that he let my hand go I gently pushed me aside.

I watched him go up to this tall guy. He looked familiar but it was too dark to see anything. Next thing I saw was Mason punching that dude. My eyes were wide opened. I didn't know how to react. Should I go over there or not. My head was mixed up. As making my way to them Mason fell on the floor. I quickly ran to see if he was okay.
"Mason, are you nuts? Why did you do that? Are you okay? Oh my God, you're bleeding." -after I saw that he was bleeding a looked at the guy who punched him.

"What the fuck are you doing man? You could've broke" -face that I saw took my words. Just like every time we would meet. It was that guy from across the window. He punched him.

"Come Rose he's not worth it. Let's just go." -Mason said pulling me away from all of this.

As we were going away my eyes were still attached on that guy. He was looking at me but then just wiped his lower lip and left. Mason and I left too. As we walked outside he put his jacket on my shoulders.

"Need a ride home?" - he said grabbing my hand worryingly.

"I don't but I really don't wanna go alone in this hour, so that would be nice." -I'm not trying to flirt with him. The problem is I need to go through a small woods to get home. And trust me you don't want to walk there in the night. There's no street light.

We drove away. I trust Mason. I know he won't kidnap me or sell my kidneys. We were catching up on some stuff when driving. He told me why he punched that guy. His girlfriend cheated on him with him. I didn't tell that I know him. I didn't feel like it.

"Here we are." - he said looking into my eyes.

"You wanted to say something in the club to me and never finished." - I knew he was going to ask me out on a date.

"Yea. Rose. Would you maybe like to go out some times? On a date?" -he placed his hand on my knee as he was saying that. I wasn't comfortable with it to be honest. It was a bit to fast.

"I actually would like to." -I grabbed his hand slowly and removed it back where it belonged with an ironic smile on my face. On his knee.

"See you tomorrow at 7 o'clock. I'll pick you up." -he put a big Hollywood smile and got closer when saying that. Ge pressed his lips gently on my cheek and pulled back. He just knew how to do it.
