I walked and looked around at the odd structure. "This must have been here for millions of years. Look how the rock has grown around it." Billy said. "I don't like this place." Kimberly said as I saw a metal door ahead of me. "I'm starting to agree." I said with a nod. I heard a ringing and vibration coming from my jean pocket. "Hey, guys. Check it out." Jason said holding his red coin in his hand. It was glowing bright red. I pulled the green one out and looked at it. The door in front of me opened up. "That's usually a bad sign." I said breaking the silence. Kimberly land Jason shared a glance. We walked into the ship and glanced around. "Holy sh--" Zack started. "Shh!" Billy interrupted. "What? Think there's aliens in here?" Zack asked. "Just be quiet, Zack." I said. "It's so cold in here." New girl said. "Jason, is this real? Are we really in a spacehip right now?"Billy asked. "I think so. Just...Just breathe, okay?" Jason said to him. "Okay." Billy said. "Hey. We've all seen enough. Right? We should go now?" New girl said. I looked back at her. "What? We're gonna be famous!" Zack yelled. "What the hell is wrong with you, Zack? Quiet!" I whispered. I heard a metal tink up above. "There's something here." I said. I stepped forward looking up slowly. The place began to rumble and shift. "Run." I said. "What?" Jason asked. "I said 'Run.'" I stated looking back at Jason with wide eyes. All of us ran back to the way we came to find it was blocked off. "Uh oh." I muttered. "Guys, guys, guys! Let's go! That way! Let's go!" Jason yelled pointing at a corridor. "I'm going! Run!" Billy said as all of us ran down the hall to different hiding spots. I hid in front of everyone closest to the hall exit. I heard a chattering and looked behind me at the others. I raised a finger to my lip with wide eyes. I heard footfalls gradually getting louder as the being got closer. The footfalls went silent. I was suddenly pulled out from my hiding place and screamed as I was pulled down the corridor. 'WHOA!" I screamed as I was dragged down the hall quickly. "Tommy!" Kimberly screamed. I screamed as I was pulled. I turned around to see a short creature with a UFO-shaped head. My eyes widened as I kicked the arm off me and scurried away. "WHAT THE FREAK?!" I shouted. "You're real!" The being said to me getting real close to my face. "Get away from him!" Zack yelled as he ran at the alien. The alien grabbed him and threw him away. The others ran towards me. I got to my feet. "We will kill you." Jason said. "Kill me? How?" It asked. "There's six of us." Kimberly said. "Yes, I know! I've been waiting for you. Wait, where's the other guy? 1, 2, 3, 4, 5...Oh! There he is." It said looking for Zack. It found him and pulled him over to us. "Oh, no, no, no, no!" Zack yelled. "All of you." It said. "In a spaceship buried underground? How long have you been waiting?" Billy asked. "What's today? Monday?" It asked looking at me. "Yeah." I answered. "Then 65 million years." It answered with a nod of its head. I looked at Billy. "Whoa. That's the Cenozoic Era." I stated. "Wow! You are an intelligent life form." It said looking at me. "No...I just know the history of Earth." I said with a shrug. The others stared at me. "What? I like history." I said. "I've been very lonely. You're all so young-looking." It exclaimed grabbing my face. "Whoa!" I yelled pushing it off me. I backed away. "My face still attached to my head?" I asked feeling my head. "Yeah. You're good buddy." Zack said slapping my shoulder. "Oh thank god." I said relieved. "This has to do with the coins?" Jason asked. "Yes, yes, the coins! Different colors. Different kids. Different-colored kids! I'm so excited you're here!" It exclaimed happily. We jumped back in unison wide-eyed. I glanced over at Kimberly and Jason. "Turn around." It told us. "Go on." It said. "I'm kinda afraid to." Billy muttered. "That makes two of us." I whispered.

"No way." Jason said. "Proceed." The little robot said. "Think this'll work. One, two, three, four, five, six. Different colors." The robot whispered to himself. "Guys, let's focus on getting out of here." Kimberly said. "Stay together, and then when we see a chance...we run like hell." She added. "Okay...And if we don't get a chance? Then we kill it." Jason said. "This shouldn't hurt, but let's see." The robot said. "Wait what?" I asked. "Please, step into the footprints." It said immediately. "No. We are not going to do that." Kimberly whispered. "Hey, question. Um, what are you?" Billy asked. "I'm Alpha 5, an alphormic lorcaid persona android." It said. "What?" Jason asked. "He said he's a Alpha 5..." Billy started. "Yeah, I know." Jason stated. "I'm a talking robot. You can trust me." It said. Billy walked to the nearest footprint. "Billy!" Zack whispered. He tapped his foot on it and gasped before hopping onto it closing his eyes. He opened them and smiled at us, waving us on. "What the hell?" Zack said getting on. "Okay." The new girl said as she and Kimberly got onto platforms opposite from one another. Jason and I looked at each other. I sighed and shrugged. The two of us go onto the last two platforms that were next to each other. As soon as the two of us stepped on, the room lit up and the wall behind us glowed a bright red. "Oh, it's working! This is great! It's working! Zordon, are you there? Zordon!" Alpha 5 yelled. "Whoa!" I exclaimed falling to my knees. I heard something speak an alien language. "Okay. Okay." Jason said before hopping off and running to the door. I grabbed Kimberly's hand and ran to the door with the others. "Go, go, go!" Jason yelled before the door slid shut in front of us. I let go of Kimberly's hand and stared at the door. "Come forward, please!" Alpha 5 yelled. "Do we have a choice?" Kimberly asked. "Don't think so." I whispered. The six of us turned around and looked at the giant face in the wall. "Look! It's Zordon!" Alpha 5 yelled. "Zordon, they don't know who you are." Alpha 5 stated looking back at the face. "Come in! Come in!" He added. "These are them? They're so small." The face said. "Funny, I said the same thing, actually." Alpha 5 said. "You mean to tell me that the fate of the universe is placed in the hands of these...These children?" Zordon asked. "The universe? That's a big place." Billy whispered. "They're teenagers. Somewhere between infancy and full maturity. It's hard to explain, really. I don't..." Alpha 5 said. "Show me the coins." Zordon demanded as his face zoomed across the wall. I jumped. We pulled the coins out and showed it to them. "The morphing grid is never wrong." Zordon said. "If the power coins have returned to the ship with these..." Zordon started. "Teenagers!" Alpha 5 said. "With these teenagers, then these teenagers are the Power Rangers." Zordon said. "Power Rangers!" Alpha 5 yelled. "The what now?" I whispered. "Okay, quick question. Hello. Hate to interrupt. Did I just hear you say we're Power Rangers?" Zack said. "Yes. Yes. You are the Power Rangers. Any other questions?" Zordon said. "No, I think I'm good." Zack said with nod. "Good." Zordon said. "I got a question. Um...Hi, how you doing? Okay. My name is Billy. Billy Cranston. Kids used to call me Billy-Crams-Tons..." Billy started. Jason and I shared a wide-eyed glance before turning around, looking at Billy. "Billy! Stop." We said in unison. He looked at us. "I'm sorry. Uh...The images here in this sphere tell a history of the Power Rangers. Looks like the Power Rangers were a team that protected life." Billy said looking at the glowing sphere in the middle of the room. Six vague figures were pictured in the sphere. Each a different color. Actually...each a different color of the six stones. "And life is a bright light. Or a piece of light?" Billy said looking at Zordon. "Yes. Yes, very good, Billy. It is called the Zeo Crystal." Zordon said. "Oh, I love this part. This is good." Alpha 5 said. "Every planet in the universe that has life has a piece of the crystal buried inside it." Zordon said. "65 million years ago, Zordon team's died defending the crystal here in what is now Angel Grove." Alpha 5 said. "The coins have chosen you six." Zordon said. "Now you must protect the Zeo Crystal and life on Earth." Zordon said. "Because....we are the Power Rangers?" I questioned. "He's smart." Alpha 5 said. "I'm sorry, um, is this some kind of joke? Like, I 'm standing here with a wet wedgie. My socks are soaked. We're squishing around in here. We're talking to a wall. I mean, guys..." Kimberly said. "Silence!" Zordon said as flash of white light appeared and I floated into the air.

I opened my eyes and I was in my bedroom. I sat up in my bed and looked around. I walked out to the living room and noticed the door was open. I walked out of the house and onto the middle of a street. "Dig! Dig, Goldar!" I heard a whisper behind me. I looked forward and saw a giant monster in front of me and a woman teleporting closer to me. She stood close to my face looking me over. She pressed her hand to my chest and I could feel the life being drained from me. She pushed me back with a scream and I stumbled back into charred incinerated bodies of dead people, destroying them. I fell back and crashed to the floor of the ship with a loud clang. "Sir, I'm detecting elevated heart rates. They're very scared." Alpha 5 said. "I don't understand. Why would you show us that nightmare?" Jason asked. "It's not a nightmare. It's the future." Zordon said as I slowly got to my feet. "Was that for real?" Kimberly asked. "Felt like it." New girl said. "And who was that woman?" I asked. "Her name is Rita Repulsa. She will create Goldar, a huge monster who will rip the crystal from the Earth and all life on your planet will die. With the crystal Rita will have the power to create and destroy worlds." Zordon said. "So let me guess. You want us to kill this woman? Rita?" New girl asked. "Ay, ay, ay! Rita!" Alpha 5 said. "She must be stopped. "When is she coming?" Kimberly asked. "She's already here. My best guess is we have 11 months. Oh, I'm sorry, days. Days, 11 days." Alpha 5 said. "If we're the Power Rangers and this is our ship, If I walk through that door right now, will it open for me?" New girl asked. "Yes, of course." Zordon said. "Let's go." She said as the others ran to the door. "Whoa, what are you doing? No, no, no come back! No. No, please, don't leave." Alpha 5 said. "Jason, my Ranger team died defending the crystal from Rita. That's why I'm in this wall." Zordon said. "How'd you know my name?" Jason asked. "Because it's you, Jason Scott. You are the leader. You are the Red Ranger." Zordon said. I looked into the sphere and watched a red suit. The image turned to a green suit. "Rita was a Ranger, too. And my friend. But she betrayed us. Wanted more power. She lost her way. Now she is just pure evil. You must bring them back. All of the Rangers. You must train your team to stop Rita before she has the strength to find the crystal." Zordon said. "She was the Green Ranger, I'm assuming?" I asked. "Yes...as are you, Tommy Oliver. She will try to tempt you to join her cause, but you must not listen to her. You must be different. You must stay vigilant." Zordon said. "Okay. I'm leaving. And I only speak for myself when I..." Jason said. "No! You speak for all of them. You know that, deep down, what I'm saying is true. You were born for this." Zordon said. I clenched my jaws and watched Jason leave. "Tommy...you must listen to me. The Green Ranger...is not like the other Rangers. It is different. Its power is different. You must not become Rita." Zordon said. "Look...I'm not letting some dude in a wall...tell me what I can and can't do. You hear me?" I said pointing at him. "Maybe...if you had done your job, perhaps...you would be here to do it yourself." I said leaving. "Tommy! You are going down a path that could change your life. It's up to you to decide if it's the path of good....or evil." Zordon said. I left the ship and walked outside.
