Hello! So here we are again! I haven't uploaded for a few days which sucked for me cuz I've had college and blah blah blah. So once again I have dedicated a chapter to the epically awesome @Enchanted_Rose because she is just that amazing just like her stories. CHECK THEM OUT OR I'LL BEAT YOU WITH CACTUSES! Ok that was mean, plus cactuses isn't even a word. It's cacti isnt it? or something like that? Ahh distractions! So who is in the bike shed? Well you're going to find out....

*Ash's POV*

“Are you certain?”

The voice was a man’s. I was 100% sure about that.

“Yes, for the hundredth time, I’m certain.”

Elizabeth! Oh, my Gosh. She was in there with him. Wait, what was Elizabeth doing alone with this guy? Oh, crap, he’s her boyfriend. They must’ve come here to be alone.

A rock crashed down into the bottom of my stomach. I made my way to leave, but I hesitated a moment.

“Are you sure?” the voice said again.

“Yes! I’m positive. I did it myself for goodness sake.”

I humourless laugh came from the man.

“Yes, that’s what I was concerned about.”

Ok, that’s not right. If they were a couple, there was no way he would talk to her like that and I doubted Beth-I mean Elizabeth- let anyone talk to her like that.

My breath was coming faster and faster with my increasing panic.

This guy was dangerous. You could hear it from his cold, hard voice that was filled with nothing but bitterness. But Elizabeth didn’t seem fazed by him, no sense of fear or concern coming from her voice at all. In fact she seemed comfortable with him almost.

A type of scoff came from Elizabeth.

“What are you doing here? You could’ve waited until I got back to talk to me about this. Anyway, it’s not like you to ever see me for a social call. So humour me, why are you really here?”

I inched closer to the door to listen for his reply.

“I’ve been asked to keep an eye on you. There’s been some talk and he’s been getting....concerned”

“Huh,” Elizabeth mused. “What kind of talk would that be?”

“Like I care, I’m just here to make sure you don’t screw things up. You’ll only make more trouble for me.”

“Wouldn’t want that now, would we?” she laughed, bitterly.

There was a loud thump. Risking a peek inside, I saw what had happened.

Elizabeth had been pinned up against the side wall by her throat by the mystery man. I could now see him more clearly, but couldn’t see his face. He was extremely tall with dark hair, dressed completely in black from his leather jacket to black leather boots. His left hand was clamped around Elizabeth’s throat. Choking her. She grabbed for the hand that had her throat, but he caught both of them in his other hand.

His voice was low growl “Listen runt. Never forget who you’re talking to, you got that? I don’t care what the others say. To me you’re just the worthless half-breed I’m stuck with.”

Instead of showing any fear, she smiled at him, a full grin.

Suddenly, the dark haired man was thrown off of her and flew straight into the other wall, shaking it violently. He slid down and fell on the concrete floor.
