Night Guardians

Author's Note (Yeah, I'm still alive...awkward...)

Right...this is definitley awkward...It's been almost a full year since I've uploaded here. I'm very sorry to those of you who stuck with me through this story and I thank you for doing so, honestly. It really wasn't fair of me to just up and leave Night Guardians the way that I did, so, you guys deserve an explanation.

Simplest way to put it is that I really didn't like the way that the story was going. I felt that my writing style was way too raw and 'out of tune', as it were, with the actual characters' personalities and how they would actually behave in the context of their story. Even while I was still uploading regularly (for me at least haha) I wasn't happy with how each chapter had turned out and ran back to my computer to try and change it, but to no evail of fixing the problem. I had only planned to take a small hiatus to recharge and edit the book to how I felt it should be so you guys would like it more, and so would I. Sadly, this obviously didn't turn out the way I had planned. In the end there was just far too much I wanted to change and do over I eventually just couldn't keep up with my own work. With this along with many other shitty life problems, it got to the point where I wasn't even enjoying writing anymore because it just felt like endless edits and re-drafts that I completely lost track of the whole story! And what's the point in doing something you don't love to do? So, I took a long sebatical, if you will, of writing not just Night Guardians but other little projects I had come up with along the way. 

However, last night, for the first time in ages I actually felt the inspiration to write something. And so I dusted off my laptop (Literally, this thing had been buried so deep hell was sick of it!) and typed. 2000 words later, I fell in love with wriing again and had fun doing it! I'm sorry to say that even though I've taken this huge 'break', I doubt I'll be coming back to Night Guardians for a while. Now that I have finally gotten back my writing spirit I feel that going back to something that was a big part in what made me lose it in the first place would be a big mistake. That's not to say that Night Guardians is over. I will return to it at some point, I've shed far too much blood, sweat and tears over this not to! :P Plus, holy crap! I saw that it's gotten over 5,000 reads in total?! Wow. I hope you guys who are still out there won't hate me too much for this. I honestly felt terrible, but I just feel that it's neccesary to move forward with this story and well as starting new ones.
