Arc 1: Chapter Six

"You look scared, don't be." Says Meliodas, watching as Elizabeth got her things from her locker. "How can I not be? This is my first day of school...I've never been around other people before and...and-"

"Your thinking too much. You have nothing to worry about. I switched all our classes to be the same, so we'll always be together, and nobody will bully you if I'm around. Their gonna love you." Says Meliodas, giving her those eyes that make her melt.

"C'mon, we should hurry or we'll be late." Says Meliodas, taking her hand into his.

"Is that Meliodas? And the new girl?"

"Wow, she's hella pretty."

"I've never seen him this happy before. He usually looks so depressed."

"Ignore the rumours." Says Meliodas, pulling her closer. "Okay..." she mumbles just as they enter the class.

This was going to be a long day.

Finally, it was the end of the day, and Elizabeth didn't find school such a drag as her two sisters complained it was going to be. Elizabeth however, was the smartest in her class, only because she was already a grade ahead thanks to all the studying she did when she was bored.

At lunch, she got to know her old friends some more, and Diane and Elaine seemed to like her a lot since they both sat by her in each of her classes. She also learned that Merlin was the school nurses assistant, and she also internships at the same hospital she goes to.

"So...is there an restriction on what we can tell her? Or just really anything?" Diane Asks.

"Well, the doctor said she'd rather her remember the incident on her own but everything else was fine to tell her."

"Oh, well, Elizabeth did you know that once, Meliodas asked you out? We were ten and it was on the playground but it still happened." Elizabeth blushes a bit at Diane's worlds. "Oh really...what did I say?"

"You declined, and Diane didn't mention the part that she was jealous since she liked Meliodas at the time."

"Oh really? Do you still like him?" Elizabeth Asks. "Of course not...he's like a brother to me now...plus me and King kinda go out."

"Wow really?" Asks Elizabeth surprised. Diane nods. "Yep! And so do Ban and Elaine."

"Diane-" "Relax, Elizabeth's our friend, and she was going to find out eventually." "Well, that's true but I could've told her myself!"

"Can you not give her an headache," Says Ban. "You Hush it before I dump you into a trash again!" Diane Exclaims And Ban puts up his hands in surrender.

"You know what...how about we walk ahead of the boys..." Elaine trails off as she grabs Diane and Elizabeth and walks ahead.

"So...how about we have a sleepover this Friday? It'll be Elizabeth's first week of school and llllfirst sleepover!" Elaine Says. "Oh! That'd be cool, you down Elizabeth?"

"Uhm...sure..." she says.

"Well, this is our stop. We'll see you two tomorrow! Don't do any kissing without us around!" Diane teases as they walk down the other road.

"Did you enjoy it?" Meliodas Asks her once their all alone. "Yeah...I just wish I could remember everything...then I could relate a whole lot more to everyone."

"You'll get them back. I know you will."
