Arc 1: Chapter Twenty-Two

~The Next Day~

"Veronica!" Whisper yells Margaret. A second later Veronica comes into the room. "Oh my..." she trails off smiling.

"Looks like they had fun being parents last night." Says Veronica and Margaret nods, pulling out her phone and taking a picture before posting in on her social media.

"Those two will be trending before the day is over."

Elizabeth sat in her bridesmaid dress, with Veronica by her-side. They'd be going down the aisle shortly, and she'd be walking with Meliodas.

Veronica latched hands with Griamore and smiled at Elizabeth before walking down.

"Good luck Margaret." Elizabeth Smiles, before latching hands with Meliodas as they began walking.

"This'll be us soon." He Says.

"Your right." Elizabeth Smiles, as they break apart for a short moment as it was now Margaret's turn to walk down the aisle.

Elizabeth smiled at how pretty and happy her sister looked, and listened to the priest speak.

"Margaret Liones, Do you take Gilthunder to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do,"

"Gilthunder, do you take Margaret to be your lawfully wedded wife."

"I do," He Answers as he the priest closes his book.

"I know pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride." He Says as they both lean in and kiss eachother, the crowd erupting into cheers as they do.

~After the Wedding~ ~The Next Day~

Margaret and Gilthunder left for their honeymoon that night, and they also left Gilmore with them, so that met more fun time between the three when she wasn't at school. Most of the time she'd be with her father or Veronica though.

"Uhm Mel, you haven't told anyone about what happened last night...with Esta?"

"Zeldris knows...that's it. I would've told dad but he left for his business trip the other day."

"Are you gonna tell the police...?"

"I should," he answers truthfully. "But I'd rather kill him."

"Meliodas," she scolds. "He hurt you, remember, and no one should ever get away with hurting you." He Says and Elizabeth rolls her eyes.

"I'm not-" "Elizabeth please don't say that. I could feel you trembling that night," He Answers, his voice shaky. Elizabeth decides to just hush, and looks over to Gilmore Who was playing in her crib.

I never knew Meliodas could be this cold hearted.

"Ellie I-

"Don't Ellie me," She answers angrily, although there was a hint of sadness. She stands up, about to head up the stairs when he grabbed her wrist pulling her back to him.

"Elizabeth I don't want you to be scared of me..." He says truthfully, kissing her back, sending shivers down her spine.

"Well you did...I never knew you could be that heartless."

Meliodas stays silent.

"All I wanna do is protect you guys...but I'm not doing such as good job." He sighs, letting go of her and putting his hands in his pockets. "I'm gonna go for a walk really quick." He Says and Elizabeth nods, blinking away the tears.

Was this their first official argument?

Meliodas didn't come back the next night to sleep next to her like he always did, so Elizabeth didn't get much sleep with all the nightmares she was having.

I don't feel like getting up. She thinks to herself but gets up anyway and heads to take a shower. After doing that she puts on some clothes. Jeans were really uncomfortable now so she was wearing a jumper with a black t-shirt underneath, along with some white shoes. After putting on a light shade of pink lip gloss and grabbing her phone and backpack she left.

She'd be walking to school even though her ankles hurt like hell. Usually Meliodas would give her a lift but...she didn't think they were on the best terms at the moment.

Elizabeth pouts. I really don't wanna walk all the way there. She thinks to herself as she begins walking, but just as she starts, a car pulls up beside her.

"Elizabeth right?" Says his voice, and Elizabeth remembers his name being...Arthur.

"Yes?"

"Hop in, aren't you like seven months pregnant? You shouldn't be walking to school." He Says And Elizabeth allows him to give her a lift.

"Care to explain while your walking alone?" He Asks once she's seated.

"I don't usually, but Meliodas and me aren't on the beat terms right now," She Says.

"Care to explain to me why you go to our school now?" Elizabeth half jokes.

"Meliodas said it'd be a good place to finish out my life as a senior so I agreed and here I am."

Elizabeth nods, just as they arrive to their school. "Thanks for the ride...Arthur right?" Elizabeth Asks. He nods. "I'd like to get to know you some more Elizabeth." Says Arthur. "You seem like a nice person," he adds as they walk into the school doors.

"Oh, well, we can talk at lunch. I could also give you a tour if you'd like, I'd have to ask the principle first though."

"I'd like that," he agrees.

The principle agreed, so Elizabeth spent her first two blocks giving Arthur a tour before she met up with everyone at lunch.

And that, completely hurt her since she had to sit beside Meliodas, and they weren't really on talking terms.

Elizabeth sat at the table, picking at her food, and Meliodas did the same. She couldn't eat. She just couldn't. And she started to feel a bit sick.

"Oh! Elizabeth! Did you know you and Meliodas are trending. People keep saying your gonna be cute parents."

"Oh...really..." Elizabeth trails off, and Meliodas stays silent.

"You two seem quiet." Noticies Ban. "Which means something happened. Spill it!" Diane squeals. But Elizabeth just shook her head.

"I-I think I need to go to the bathroom," Elizabeth excuses herself, heading towards the bathroom.

As soon she gets there, she throws up what little breakfast she ate, and a second later she could feel someone holding up her hair.

Elizabeth says nothing, and rinses out her mouth before following him out the bathroom.

"Elllie, where were you? You didn't come to class and-"

"Oh, So now you care?" She finally looks at him, crossing her arms. "If you must know, I was giving Arthur a tour of the school." She Says before walking away.
