Arc 1: Chapter Three

Throughout the week Meliodas didn't tell her much of where they would be going. He just said it'd be outdoors so Elizabeth decided on wearing jeans with a grey shirt. She also wore her grey vans that matched her shirt perfectly.

Before leaving, she made sure to lock her door, and then she waited by her balcony for Meliodas to come. And after ten minutes of him not showing up, he had sent her a text.

Hey, sorry...my dads making me
watch my brothers and I have to
do some work for his company.
He's not letting me go out 😭

Oh, it's fine. Kinda wished we could've hung out though 😓

Well...we still can 😉 come over my house? Please 🥺

Fine...but you better not be planning anything you creep. I'll see you in a few.

Wait,  I'm gonna call you

And a second later she receives a call from Meliodas. "Why're you calling when I'm about to come over?" Asks Elizabeth. "Well...I wanna make sure you get over here in one piece. Do you even know how to climb down the tree by yourself?"

"Whatever, What do I do?" She asks.

"Grab onto the closest branch and use your upper body strength to climb down." Elizabeth frowns. "I don't think I have the upper body strength to do this..." she trails off, putting him on speaker so she could hear him as she climbed down.

"I'll try," Says Elizabeth Finally, lifting her leg over and climbing down.

"See what did I tell you? Have you fallen yet?" He Asks. "No...this was actually pretty-" and that's when she decides to fall.

"Ouch..." she rubs her head, sitting up.

"Did you fall? Do you need me to come and-"

"I'm fine," she answers standing up.

I've never heard Meliodas sound that worried...

"I'm right infront of your house so I'm gonna hang up now." She says ending the call, and she knocks on the door as soon as she's infront of him.

A second later, someone answers the door, but it wasn't Meliodas.

"So your Elizabeth..." he trails off, and as soon as he does Meliodas pushes him from infront of the door.

"I told you that I was going to get the door Zeldris." Meliodas Says. Meliodas grabs Elizabeth's hand and leads her up to his room. "Your supposed to be doing your work, not fooling around with a girl in your room."

"We're not doing anything you idiot." Says Meliodas as they head into his room.

"Your brother seems nice." Says Elizabeth, breaking the silence. He seemed angry and she didn't want him like that.

"Far from it, he's annoying." Says Meliodas pouting.

"Awe, you Look cute when you pout Mel." Says Elizabeth smiling. Meliodas looks at the girl. "Where did Mel Come from?"

She shrugs. "You call me Ellie and I call you Mel, cute right?" "If that's what you call cute," he says turning around, and secretly Elizabeth knew that he liked the nickname.

"Do you need help?" She asks him. Meliodas sighs. "Not that you could anyway, you'd have to be my wife." He answers.

"Hm...So your gonna take over your dads company?" She asks him. "Yeah...even though I'd rather play basketball for life."

"I wish I could go to college atleast...the only time I get out is when you take me somewhere."

"About that Elizabeth...do you think I should be taking you out? What if something happens, what if-"

"Nothing's gonna happen Mel-"

"But something could happen!" He snaps, and Elizabeth realizes she's never seen him this angry.

"I'm sorry for yelling like that..." Meliodas says softly seeing the fear in Elizabeth's eyes.

"You know I think I'll just go..." She says standing up and opening the door. "Wait-" Meliodas says grabbing her wrist, and when Elizabeth turns around their faces were closer than ever, and she can feel his breath on hers. "Ellie...I only yelled because I don't want you dying on me because I really care about you."

Elizabeth blushes at his words. "I-I care about you too Mel..." she says and before she knows it his lips were on hers. Their kiss lasted a good ten seconds before they parted.

Did that really just happens? She thinks to herself before she was cut short by her phone ringing.

"Hello?" She Answers. "Why aren't you answering the door?" Comes the voice of none other than Veronica. "Uhm...I fell asleep after taking my medication...I'm still a little drowsy so I guess I'll get up and answer..." she trails off.

"Ah, take your time. We don't want you hurting yourself," Says Veronica before hanging up.

"I should head home before they get suspicious," Says Elizabeth grabbing her purse. "I understand." Says Meliodas.

"I'll see you tomorrow, and I'll text." Says Elizabeth before leaving.

"Still can't believe that's the same little girl that would take care of you and me all the time." Says Zeldris. "Yeah...I want her to get her memories back.

Quick A/N : No, Estarossa isn't in this story...I just felt it'd be weird for some reason :/ (He might be brought up later on tho, I just don't know)
