Arc 1: Chapter Eleven.

"Your not heading the usual way home." He says and Elizabeth freezes. She turns around slowly. "I-I'm sorry Meliodas. I just needed some girl stuff and thought it'd be fine if-"

"I made a promise to your father to not let you out of my sight. I'm living up to that. I'll come with you." Elizabeth sighs.

Their trip to the store is quiet, only because Elizabeth was thinking about what could be going on the whole time.

"Can you please wait out here? I'm buying feminine stuff." Asks Elizabeth.

"If your on your period there's nothing to worry about. I've seen your stuff before. Plus I could buy you some chocolate and-"

"Mel, please." She begs. She can see the worried look on his face, but she really needed to head home too. "Fine." Shrugs Meliodas. "I'll wait." He says. Elizabeth kisses him on the cheek. "Your the best," She Says before heading inside.

As soon as she does she heads straight for the pregnancy tests. She bought like four of them, buying the most expensive so they'd be accurate.

Along with that she grabs a bag of chocolate covered peanuts and a big bag of jalapeño Cheetos since she was craving them.

"Sorry that took awhile." Says Elizabeth as she comes out the store. "It's fine, let's head home." He Says, grabbing her hand and holding onto it. Elizabeth leans into him and nods.

"I'll see you tonight, at the basketball game. We'll walk there together right?" She Asks and he nods as she heads inside her house.

"I hope you don't spoil your dinner with all those snacks." Says Margaret, Who was cooking in the kitchen.

"There for Wednesday. Me, Diane, and Elaine are having a girls day plus I'm on my period." She lies. There girls day was Friday and she wasn't on her period.

Margaret nods and Elizabeth hurries up the stairs, heads into her bathroom, and locks it.

She grabs the four pregnancy tests from the bag and does as they all say, and now she waits a dreadful ten minutes. While waiting on the test, she receives a text message from Diane.

Mel told us you were sick the other day, so if you still are we all want you to get better. When you do promise me you'll go somewhere with us?

I promise.

Elizabeth shoots her the text back. And then her alarm goes off, and she becomes even more anxious.

Elizabeth looks at the stick in her hands, which read the words pregnant. And so did all the other ones as well.

Elizabeth didn't know what to think, and she found herself panicking.

Wiping away a few tears she grabbed the bag that had all the snacks in it and placed the pregnancy tests inside of it. She then locks her door, and goes out onto the balcony. She didn't care how hard as it was raining as she climbs down the tree, and makes it halfway before falling. She doesn't care though and picks up the bag and everything in it before running over to Meliodas' house.

She knocks on the door and waits for someone to open it, and luckily, it was Meliodas.

"Elizabeth? I thought you didn't feel well. Plus you ran all the way out here while it was raining...and your barefoot." And from seeing his face Elizabeth couldn't take it no more. She fell into his arms and crumbled onto the floor, her sobs escaping the room.

"Calm down, Elizabeth. Your gonna make your illness go off." Says Meliodas, closing the door and moving her to the couch, along with wrapping a towel around her and helping her get dry.

"I-I can't help it my whole life is ruined." She Says.

"Ellie, look at me." He Says, And Elizabeth loses her self in her eyes. "Now breath in and out slowly." He says and Elizabeth does as told.

"Now tell me what's wrong." He says sitting beside her.

"Are your brothers home?" She asks. "Nobody is." He Answers. Elizabeth breathes a breath of relief as she grabs the bag she had dropped.

"Promise me you won't freak out." He Says. "That depends on what it is-" And Meliodas stops as he looks down at the pregnancy test in her hands.

"Is that-" "Yeah...I missed my period by a couple of days, and then I started craving weird things and I got more tired so I looked it up and I-it showed signs of pregnancy. That's why I went to the store today and bought these tests." She Says. "You should've told me your suspicions then. You wouldn't of had to run all the way out here." He Says wrapping her into a hug.

"Mel...what are we gonna do. I never had much of a future since I'm a ticking time bomb but you, you have so much more to live for. Your great at basketball, your gonna be CEO at your dads company and then your popular and-"

"Don't say that Ellie. Your not gonna die. And you have so much to live for too. Your smart, ahead of the whole grade, and then your great at singing and your presence brings a shine to everything."

"Your just being nice." She says laying on his shoulder. "I'm being truthful, so...what do you wanna do?" He Asks. Elizabeth sighs. "I guess I'll have the baby. I couldn't kill it, it's still a life."

Meliodas nods. "Your taking this too well." She says looking at him. "Only for you, if I freak out then it'll make you freak out."

They sit in a comfortable silence for a few minutes. Both of them just thinking about how there future would be now.
