Arc 1: Chapter Two

For the month Meliodas kept coming back, every single day too. Elizabeth enjoyed the company too. Some days, he would take her out, and some days they'd sit on her balcony and just talk. Although she's only known him for a short while, in her head, it felt as if she's know him forever.

But for the past week. He hasn't visited her. And it's gotten her worried. Did I do something wrong? She thinks to herself. I've never had a friend before so maybe I did do something. Sighing to herself, she begins humming a tune, before she starts singing it aloud.

"Beautiful people. Drop top, designer clothes. Front row at fashion shows. "What d'you do?" And, "Who d'you know?" Inside the world of beautiful people. Champagne and rolled-up notes. Prenups and broken homes. Surrounded, but still alone. Let's leave the party-"

"Wow, you sound amazing." Says the voice of Meliodas and Elizabeth jumps, as her heart begins to race.

"T-thats not funny." She glares at him. "You could've set off my illness."

"Sorry, Ellie, I didn't mean to."

"Do you not want me to call you that?" He Asks after silence. "I mean...sure..." she trails off as she remembers something. "Actually I'm supposed to be mad at you." She Says, crossing her arms and looking away. Meliodas smirks as he moves to where he was in front of her. "How could you be mad at me?" He Asks, And Elizabeth blushes when she realizes how close they were.

"Okay, okay! Just," she pushes him away. "Get away,"

"Is that blush I see?" He teases. "You jerk," She Says, rolling her eyes.

"How come you haven't been visiting...it's been boring without you." She Says.

"Oh, Sorry about that. Me and my family went on a sudden trip out of town." "I see...I guess I can't be mad at you then." Says Elizabeth. Meliodas sits down beside her.

"Can you sing again?" He Asks.

"W-What?" She blushes. "Why?"

"You sound good...it's relaxing." He Says.

"I'll sing for you whenever you take me out on a date." She Says, But doesn't realize what she says till after she's done it.

"I-I was just kidding-"

"Okay then, I'll see you Friday at 8." Says Meliodas. Elizabeth blushes and looks away. "Fine..."

"I should head home," Says Meliodas. "I have basketball practice in thirty minutes too, so more than likely I'll see you tomorrow Ellie," He says climbing down her tree. Elizabeth watches him as he does, and sends him a little wave as she watches him walk over to his house.

Elizabeth breathes in a deep breath. What have I done?

For the rest of the week, Elizabeth was looking up things about liking someone, and how it's supposed to be. She's never even been around boys...so this was all new to her.

"Hey Margaret, What does it feel like to like someone?" Margaret raises a brow. "Where are you getting this from?" Elizabeth shrugs. "Just, another story I read. Plus, I envy you and Gilthunder. Your about to get married and your pregnant." Elizabeth Says.

"Well...you'll know if you like someone. You'll get butterflies and everytime your around them you'll become happier." Says Margaret turning to her.

"Also...I think it's time me and you had a girl talk." Says Margaret And Elizabeth decides to just listen.

"As much as dad says you'll never leave, we all know that your gonna go out on your own one day. So...whenever you do find someone you really love, you'll probably want to have sex."

"Woah! I did not sign up for a sex talk." Says Elizabeth, her face becoming red.

"You'll have to learn one day."
