Arc 1: Chapter Thirteen

Elizabeth frowns. "Maybe I shouldn't go to school today..." she mumbles to herself laying down on her bed.

Today, felt the worst day in history for her. For one, she kept throwing up, and she hadn't even ate anything today. Secondly, she couldn't fit any of her clothes anymore, she was literally wearing sweats and the only oversized t-shirt she owned, and she couldn't go to school in those...she'd get too hot. Lastly, she just didn't feel like going anymore, and so, for the rest of the morning she sat in bed watching Netflix all day.

Around ten she received an knock on her balcony door, and was surprised to see Meliodas.

"Are you supposed to be at school?" She asks opening the door.

"We were supposed to be going to your appointment today, remember?" He asks.

"Oh...I forgot, I'll reschedule," says Elizabeth before sprawling out along the bed.

"I can tell that you've been laying in bed," Elizabeth raises a brow at his remark. "What's that supposed to mean? Do I look ugly?" She asks.

"No I didn't-" "So I do Look ugly!" She Whines as she starts crying.

"Elizabeth I didn't mean It! You look amazing all the time."

"You liar! You know this is all your fault, I can't eat anything without throwing up, and then none of clothes fit anymore!"

"How about I head to the store and get you some new clothes okay? And then after that we should still make it to your appointment and then we can go out an eat." Meliodas says trying to calm his girlfriend down. Elizabeth nods and decides to go take a shower while Meliodas got her some new clothes.

When he came back, Elizabeth cried for a few minutes about going up a size in jeans and shirts, and then decided on wearing the black leggings he had bought for her, along with a blue shirt, bringing along a jacket since it was getting colder outside.

"Your bump has gotten bigger." Meliodas notices as he watches bee change. "And I'm not calling you fat I'm just saying that our child is growing!" He concludes.

"Really...I wonder if I'll get as big as Margaret." Elizabeth looks in the mirror at her small bump. "Soon we won't be able to hide it," she adds.

"Your right...I think we should start with our friends. See how good they take it and then we should tell our siblings." Says Meliodas as Elizabeth put on her black nikes as they left.

"Yeah...speaking of siblings, isn't Estarossa out of jail now?" Elizabeth bites her lip. "Yeah he is...my dad has talked to him, only to complain about how useless of a sperm he was...and Zel says that he's seen him around."

"Have you talked to him?" Elizabeth inquires as she sits in the passengers seat.

"Why would I?" He Asks, driving off. "And Why are you so curious?" He Asks.

"N-no reason..." "Liar, he's talked to you hasn't he?"

Elizabeth sighs. "Yeah...The night you got me all of those pizzas...he came before you had come back, but I told him you'd be here so he ran off."

"I'm gonna talk to your dad about getting security."

"Mel, we don't need that."

"You guys do...he almost killed your dad, just because he decided that you wouldn't be going to school when we found out about your illness. Not only that, he tried to also kill me when we started dating and my dad because he had arranged for us to be married. You don't know what he could do."

Elizabeth stays silent as they arrive at the hospital.

"Just think about it okay?" He asks her. Elizabeth nods, as she takes his hand into hers.

After signing in and waiting a few minutes, Elizabeth's name was called, and the nurse took her back there. They asked her questions, and told her to try and stay calm during her pregnancy to not trigger off her agoraphobia.

"Also...from the looks of it, your around three months pregnant. In two to three months you'll be able to find out the gender. Would you like to hear the heartbeat?" Elizabeth nods and a few seconds later the heart beat of their baby is the only sound in the room.

"That's living proof that there's a life inside me..." Elizabeth looks at Meliodas smiling. He nods, and squeezes her hand. After giving them pictures of the baby, and a different medication that was pregnancy friendly, Meliodas and Elizabeth left.

"I'm gonna go to Diane's house tonight. Everyone will be there and it'd be a good time to tell them..." Meliodas nods. "Then I'm guessing I should head over to Ban's house since all the guys will be there. I'll tell them too."
