Arc 2: Chapter Six *33*

After a month of working out, Elizabeth could walk on her own and had regained most of strength. She also lost all of her baby weight. Within that month, she also learned the basics of her father's company, and had started working there.

Once the two were married, they're companies would be joined together.

Today however, was Elizabeth's off day. She would be trying to take care of Angel by herself today.

"Goodmorning," Says Elizabeth, kissing her fiancés lips. He kisses back and wraps his arms around him.

"Ban's downstairs cooking, and I'll dress Angel today." Says Elizabeth, heading to the nursery to get her daughter, and after bathing and dressing her they went downstairs for breakfast.

After eating Meliodas left, in which Elizabeth waved goodbye. For the most part Angel made no trouble for Elizabeth...that is, when she couldn't stop crying.

"She's not hungry...and her diaper doesn't need to be changed. What's wrong Angel?" She Asks in a baby voice.

She sighs, knowing that the child wouldn't talk back to her and she decides to just call Meliodas.

"Uhm...Mel, Angel wont stop crying...any ideas?" She Asks. "Usually when she cries like that you just have to sing to her."

"Sing?" She Asks. "Yeah, you try." He Says.

Elizabeth nods and breathes in, as she starts singing her a lullaby. And she was quiet.

But only until she finished.

"It didn't work..." she says.

"Maybe she just adores my singing." Meliodas smirks.

"Fine then, Angel, how about we go see dada okay?" Says Elizabeth in a baby voice in which Angel squeals happily.

"Then it's decided. We'll be there soon." Says Elizabeth before hanging up.

This was bad. He had almost forgot about Liz and Elizabeth. Almost. But who knew how Liz would react when she met Elizabeth.

"How about you go on lunch break?" Meliodas Asks her.

"I didn't bring anything today," Says Liz.

"Well How about you go by something?"

"Not hungry." She answers.

"Then maybe you should just go on break."

"Are you trying to get rid of me?" She Asks.

Meliodas doesn't say anything, but instead turns the other way.

"You are..." she smirks. "But it won't work."

Meliodas sighs. "You know Meliodas, that night we hooked up was the best night of my life. Elizabeth's one lucky lady." She Says before realization hits her.

"That's why your trying to get rid of me! Elizabeth's coming isn't she!?"

Meliodas nods slowly, not sure how to approach this. "I should tell her, but I'll let it slide. As long as I can get an extra 3000 a month on my paycheck."

Meliodas bites his lip but nods. "Deal," He Says, just as he hears Elizabeth's voice...and their daughter crying.

"Can you please do whatever you do to make her be quiet? She cried the whole way here and I think it might've ticked off some of your workers." She Says.

"Give her to me," he says and Elizabeth passes her to him.

"She only falls asleep when I sing her songs by me." He says.

"Well then you should've told me that," she says, rolling her eyes. "Maybe I just wanted to see my beautiful wife and daughter." He says.

"We're not married yet, and you should work on making our beautiful daughter quiet." She says just as she notices Liz.

"Ah, I'm sorry for being rude. I'm Elizabeth, and you must be his assistant. Nice to meet you," Elizabeth smiles at her, but Liz doesn't say a word. In fact, she walks right past her.

"Well that was rude," Elizabeth pouts crossing her arms.

"Ignore her, she is rude." Says Meliodas as begins singing, which calms Angel down.

"You two look cute," he says, finally noticing their matching outfits. "Oh you like it?" Says Elizabeth And Meliodas stands up, wrapping an arm around Elizabeth's waist, and holding his daughter up with the other one.

"You two should wear something warmer though, it's December and December's in New York are cold." He reminds her. "Fashion comes first," she announces.

"Tell me that when your sick." He says. "I won't get sick." She rolls her eyes.

"When do you get off work?" She asks him. "In an hour. Why?"

"Because there's no need to call the limo all the way out here if we'll both be going home in an hour."

"So your staying here?" She nods. "I can help you with your paper work." She says.

"But remember Ms. Liones, your not my wife."

"I will be soon so they'll have to deal with it." She smirks. "There's no extra seats in my office so-"

"Then I guess I'll sit on the best seat here." She say, sitting on his lap.

"Don't do that to me Ellie," he pouts making her laugh as she grabs a pen.

Meliodas wraps his arms around her, just as Liz comes in.

"You can take off for the rest of the day now that Elizabeth's here," Meliodas tells her.

"Gladly," She Mumbles, grabbing her stuff and leaving.

"I really don't like her..." mumbles Elizabeth as she leaves. Meliodas hugs her tighter. "Just forget about her." He Whispers into her ear.

They're too lovey dovey. Liz thinks to herself as she watches them.

He never lets me do that stuff with him...I really was just someone to take his mind kff of things.

Liz sighs and pulls out her phone, dialing a number. "Hello...well my name is Liz and I have an inside scoop on Meliodas Dracon, But you have to promise me to only release this on Christmas Day."
