It was a slow day at the precinct. The officers were enjoying their peace and quiet as they conversed briefly, headed in and out of the building, and sat around to listen to music from Jungkook's Spotify playlist. It was a peaceful day until a gorgeous woman walked into the building, dragging a bruised-up man by his wrist.

"Help! This man is a criminal!" she cried out.

Jungkook rose from his seat, glancing at all of the alarmed officers who were about to jump up from their seats. "Ma'am, can you explain calmly what happened?"

She let out a shudder. "I was just walking down the street and this man looked at me and started walking up to me. I was sure he was going to use that map in his hand to bait me," she said, revolted. "I'm not weak like other girls so I beat him up myself and dragged him here."

Jungkook could only stare at her. "I think I missed the crime part."

"I was just going to ask for directions!" the man whimpered out, his hand cupping the swollen bruise near his eye. "I'm visiting and don't know my way around Brooklyn."

Jungkook let the man go after a series of questions. When he deduced that the man was, in fact, just a tourist, he apologized.

Jungkook sighed. "Ma'am, this is kind of offensive to all the women who are getting harassed by creepy men on the streets. You beat up this man pretty bad," he said. "Come to my desk. I'm afraid I'm going to have to write you up for aggravated assault."

He slumped into his chair with a frustrated sigh. "Alright, Miss, what's your name?"

"Y/N."

"Pardon?"

"Y/N L/N."

"Yin Lin, got it," Jungkook noted, writing it down on a piece of paper.

"No," Y/N said with a frown. "It's Y/N."

Confused, Jungkook caught Taehyung's eye from across the room and mouthed, "Is that not what I just said?"

"You're kind of hot," Y/N blurted out. "Do you have a girlfriend?"

"Let's stop getting sidetracked." Jungkook brushed off the comment and returned to his report. "What were you doing during the time the man approached you?"

"I just went out for lunch," Y/N said. "I always order meat and steak. Other girls would order salad but I hate salad."

Hoseok, who had just sat down with a Ceasar salad, looked down at his boxed meal with a solemn expression. "Am I... other girls?"

Jungkook promptly ignored Sarge and gave her a blank look. "I just asked what you were doing, not your order."

"Listen up, cupcake," Jin shouted, slamming his fist on his desk. He got up from his desk and pulled up a chair at Jungkook's desk. "Salad helps you meet your recommended daily intake for vitamin C, E, and folic acid. Shit on salad one more time and I'll make sure your my-mother-sold-me-to-One-Direction ass—"

"Ignore him," Jungkook interrupted. "Okay, anyways, it's pretty fucked up that you beat up an innocent guy over nothing." Y/N chucked a pen at Jungkook's forehead, earning a wince from him. "What the fuck was that for? Why are you so violent?"

"One, I'm independent; you can't tell me 'do this' and 'do that.'" Y/N crossed her arms over her chest. "Second, that was barely anything. You're just weak." She rolled her eyes. "Maybe you just haven't met anyone who doesn't act delicate and dainty all the time. I'm just not like the other girls."

"Hey, Y/N—whoa! What the fuck are you doing!" The guy winced as Y/N kept twisting his wrist.
