I've Got You

Eleven

The time to bring Seren home had arrived. Harry was practically vibrating as he kept making sure everything was in its proper place in her room. Andromeda was bustling around the house preparing for the party. Remus was pacing and looking at his watch. They had gone to Diagon Alley and allowed Harry to pick out gifts for Seren. The cake had been picked up and now they were just waiting on their guests. However, he imagined they would arrive while they were picking up Seren from the agency.

"Pads, it's time to go." Sirius had been up in Harry's room helping him go through some of his old toys. Harry decided that he wanted to donate all of the things he didn't use to the agency. The two of their heads snapped up at the same time making Remus smirk.

"Is it really?" Harry rushed over excitedly as Sirius shrunk all of the donation boxes to fit in his pocket.

"Yup, let's go bring her home."

The three of them made their way downstairs and to the floo. Sirius sent Remus and Harry first before calling out to Andromeda,

"Drom! We're leaving! We have a few more things to sign before we'll be home, but it shouldn't take too long." Andromeda walked through to the living room.

"Okay, be safe. Everyone should be here soon. Ted and I are going to get everything set up outside. I've got some extended tables and then I have a present table as well."

"Okay, and thanks again. You've been a big help." She waved him off lightly.

"It's no trouble, Sirius. Now go get your girl." He smiled widely as he stepped foot into the fireplace and soon he was gone in a green flash. As he stumbled through he moved over and dropped the donation boxes in the corner. Then he went to find Ms. Fawley and his boys. Rounding the corner to her office, he found them standing in the hallway chatting.

"Ah, there you are! Let's get started shall we?" Ms. Fawley led them through her door and they began going over the last bit of paper work.

"Now, all that is left to do is have Seren sign her new name and then the four of you can go home." She pressed a button on her desk and soon the door opened to reveal Seren and another witch. Seren beamed when she saw Harry before running over and wrapping him in a hug. When they released each other she hugged Sirius and Remus too, clinging a little tighter to the werewolf.  Ms. Fawley was smiling and there was the distinct sound of a camera clicking.

"Seren, sweetie, I just need you to sign your name here and then you get to go home." Ms. Fawley held out a quill, which Seren immediately took. Her tongue stuck slightly out of the corner of her mouth as she tried to write as neatly as possible.

"There. Seren Acadia Lupin-Black!" She beamed as she turned to the two older men. Remus pulled her in for another hug, gripping her tight and picking her up off the floor. Seren giggled loudly before snuggling in close. Ms. Fawley brought a couple of bags over to Sirius and he immediately shrank them down, stuffing them into his pocket.

"I will send an owl with the date of our first visit to make sure things are going over smoothly." They nodded as Remus sat Seren back on her feet. Seren rushed over and hugged Ms. Fawley, whose face softened.

"Okay, time to get you home. I hear you have a few surprises waiting for you." She winked at Seren, who turned back to the two older men quickly, excitement in her eyes. Harry jumped at the mention of it before rushing over to grab Seren's hand.

"Seren, do you want to floo with uncle Pads or Moony?" Harry asked her politely as they reached the fireplace.

"Can I floo with Moony?" Remus smiled and extended his hand to her.

"Of course you can."

They knew that she wasn't comfortable with calling either of them 'dad' just yet. After all, she already had parents they were simply lost now. Maybe someday she would feel comfortable, but for now, she was free to call them what Harry did. Sirius had made the joke of Remus being 'Moomy' which the latter had shot back, 'Dadfoot'.
