to hate
is an easy lazy thing

i look over at tsukishima happily, the ides threading through my mind without much thought. he's laying sleepily across our couch, watching the current volleyball tournament on the television.

"kei, what's that in your hand?" i ask gently, pointing at his left hand just a little desperately. he sighs, before turning to look at me.

"nothing?" he responds, thinking this is just another lazy attempt to annoy him, but i've learned, and i know i have to get what i want somehow.

"no," i say, pausing, and once again he turns to look at me, watching as i intertwine our fingers together. i smile, before looking at him. "it's me! you look so nice with me in between your fingers."

   "you're so cheesy."
