¤ CB's POV ¤
"That guy, I hate him," I ranted while I stood beside Kellen, making our way towards home after we both discovered that we actually live 1 street away.
Well, that technically means that we have to walk different roads to exactly go home, but before we do that, we can cross the same street. Which is really cool! That means I don't get to see that dickhead, that acted sort of weird the last time I saw him, but meh. I hate him and his brown van, which is resembling like that of a literal dick.
"Well, you did beat him in dodge ball," Kellen said softly while taking a bite off of his sandwich. Oh yeah, that street we both walk on has plenty of food stalls along the way. Well, this is my new favorite street; Caramel Street. I'll mark it.
The next street after it is Purple Street which is where I live. Also, it has food stalls in it but there is a spot there where I can indulge into my favorite flavor of ice cream, which is vanilla. I swear, Mr. Gabriel makes the best ice cream ever!
I chuckled lightly, nudging my shoulder against his lightly. "Yeah, I kind of did."
Kellen suddenly stopped his tracks, while looking at me intently for a while. "What do you mean 'kind of'?" I gave him a confused look with a raised eyebrow. He rolled his eyes with a small sigh. "You literally just beat him in the most absurd way possible! Literally no one would even stand up to him just like that!"
I cringed a little at him, because from what I remember I don't see him around PE class that time. "How did you know that? You're not in my class, right?"
"First of all, words go around here fast CB. And second, I was in your class, or maybe you just didn't notice me sooo, I kinda saw the whole thing," He trailed off as he continued walking slowly with me by his side, keeping a safe distance so that people won't suspect things.
Psh
"Well, Fred kinda dazed out during that. I feel like there's something wrong with him, its as if he's feeling like a hurricane from the inside. His eyes told me everything," I stated slowly, trying to remember the gaze he gave me when I was taunting him back at PE class.
Kellen shrugged lightly while taking the last big piece of his sandwich. "He's been spacing out lately sometimes, yes. He's fresh out of a heartbreak, at least respect his personal space."
Fresh out of a heartbreak, I thought he never did had a heart the moment I met him. Well if he does, then maybe that incident that they were talking about "Chi" has been more than just an incident, then my assumption is correct.
Although they did made up during recess, right? Or maybe they didn't want to show me those things because I'm new Either way, they had something to hide against themselves, but I'm glad that I don't get to worry about it. The perks of having a friend who does know is helpful too, makes the burden lighter for them and some gained information for the others. Win-win.
