¤ Freddy's POV ¤

I pulled over in front of the Afton Family household, since apparently despite everything, Coach still trusts me with the task of getting his two kids to school. It was originally meant to be a side job of mine, since I rarely do E-Sports streaming because of school. And it's weird, considering that I came here earlier than I usually do...

"Hey bro," Kellen started, which made me turn my head to him from the front seat. If this is anything about Baby then I'm out of the conversation. "You came home late yesterday, and Dad was worrying about you for a short minute..."

I rolled my eyes at him, and turned my head away from him. "Which one?" I asked. "Pápi Scott," he joked with a small laugh, and I returned his gesture with a chuckle. I thought it was that old bastard again. "Just wanted to let you know."

I nodded my head with a small sigh. "Thanks Kel, I appreciate it." And with that, we basked into silence once again while we wait for those two Aftons. I tried thinking about what Foxy said yesterday, which made me take a glance at Kellen through the rear view mirror. He's currently on his phone, chatting who-knows-who.

And what's worse, even though a morning argument isn't really gonna come anymore between me and Baby, but maybe a good morning punch will (sincerely from Ennard). How should I even say sorry to him? Or, if he already talked to Baby, then I assume that he'll put two and two together. Hopefully.

There was a sudden knock on the door of the shotgun seat. Knowing who that already is, I reluctantly removed the locks on the doors with a small click. Ennard entered the shotgun seat, while Baby sat beside Kellen from behind.

None of us spoke a word as I started the engine and drove out of their house. And the atmosphere is really suffocating that I hate it so much. "I'm sorry dude," Ennard said with a small shrug, while sinking on the car seat.

Excuse me, what? "Sorry? What for?" I asked him with my brows knitted in confusion, not taking off my eyes on the road. Ennard sighed. "You know what I mean Cap, my outburst yesterday was a bit out of place."

I looked at the rear view mirror just to make sure, only to see Baby on her phone with her earphones plugged in. She's busy Fred, use the time wisely.

I chuckled. "That's nothing bro, we both know that the situation by that time was too heated to just sit down and think for a moment," I stated with a small nod. No one ever wanted what happened yesterday, so it's only right to not blame anyone on anything. Except for what I did, of course.

"Yeah, I guess you're right," Ennard concluded with a small nod, and continued to stay silent the whole drive to school. Scratch that, everyone continued to stay silent, and I don't think this'll end inside this van.

This will be a weird day. Very weird. And did my gut say it'll be sneaky too?
