¤ Freddy's POV ¤
"Come on, guys! We're almost there!" I shouted frantically to my siblings, as all of us continued pushing my family-sized van with Nedd Bear on the wheel just because he's the youngest (but that doesn't save him from looking out for the Freddles).
When I looked in front, our house is at sight, with a small car already parked outside. Fuck. "Guys, we need to push harder!" I shouted, while we worked together on parking my van on the garage.
If this were a prank, then all of us bros would've had laughed at ourselves, really. But when our Pápi Scott catches us still out (specially with the Freddles) late at night, then who knows what punishment we would face.
"Children! Why are you still out?" We heard someone shout from a distance, and that just made all of us push harder like our lives depended on it (which it did). "Shit," I muttered under my breath.
After a while of pushing the van with teamwork and our sweat all over the place, we managed to park my van properly on the garage. Of course, after that, we all dashed outside the garage and to the house in a jiffy.
When we arrived at the living room, a man wearing a white robe and sandals, with black shades while holding a cup of hot coffee is standing on the center of the room.
In comparison, I'm kinda taller than him by a few feet. He's also kinda lanky but chubby at the same time. When he turned his face towards us, he shook his head while taking a sip of hot coffee. "Fred, why are you and the rest of the children out at a late time?"
"Pápi, it was my fault because I treated them all free ice cream," I started, looking down at the ground for effect. "It's a Friday Night, so I figured that I should treat them from time to time," I continued, as I looked to the sides, only to see my bros nod their heads slightly.
I can feel Pápi Scott eyeing each of us carefully so that he can judge for himself if we did trouble and are actually lying to him, or if we're telling the truth. Suddenly, he whipped out his phone and dialed a number, making all of us bros silent.
"Ey, Gabriel! What's up?" Oh, so he called Mr. Gabriel. We're safe. "Scott! Long time no talk my friend!" Mr. Gabriel said on the phone, thereby indicating that Pápi had turned on the speakers on his phone so that everyone can hear what he's saying.
"Say amigo, were my boys there at your Ice Cream Stall earlier?" Pápi had asked him, which made Mr. Gabriel laugh on the other side of the line. "Si amigo! They were here not too long ago, and they've spent $200!" Mr. Gabriel exclaimed.
Pápi Scott had nodded his head, meaning me and my bros are now free. "Really?" Pápi Scott asked. "It seemed like they were talking about something when they were here, but I didn't hear anything."
That's good, then me and Kellen would just tell Pápi Scott what happened earlier.
