Monokuma is up to his old tricks again. Once again he has captured sixteen people who are forced to participate in a killing game, ultimately forcing everyone to kill each other. However, this isn't like before.....the participants don't limit just...
I stared at the large hatchet with wide eyes. The blade was easily a couple feet long, and could hack anything easily with enough strength and effort.
"Whoa! Holy shit...." Rin murmured. "Y-You really found that in h-here?" Crona said. Amaimon nodded.
"Yes. I am not sure what the murderer would use this hatchet for." he said. "I see. So that's it." Near thought aloud. Everyone looked to him curiously. He seemed to notice, so he further explained. "I believe we may have found our murder weapon. The very weapon used to kill Zack." he explained.
"What? You think this....was used to kill Zack?" I asked.
"There are no other weapons that have been discovered yet, much less one that is large and covered in blood. This hatchet could easily be the cause of those wounds on Zack's body." Near said.
"Yeah, in fact...." Mello said, looking further inside the closet, "I wouldn't be surprised if they killed him in this room."
"Killed in there huh? Then what about the mess that's out here." We all perked up and left the closet, seeing Ulric walking this way. "Ulric? Did you find anything?" Rin asked. "Not yet. I came to see if you guys found anything, and it seems you have." Ulric said.
"Well, what did you say? About the blood out here?" Amaimon asked, referring to the blood on the hallway floor. "As I was saying, if you really think Zack was killed in there, then how would you explain the blood stains out here? Hell, how would they even be able to bring Zack to the garden without dragging a trail?" Ulric asked.
"I'm not sure. That is pretty strange...." Rin admitted. I looked at the blood stains closely.....my eyes slowly widening.
"Wait a minute...." I knelt down, taking a closer look.
"Don't these look a lot like footsteps?" I asked. Mello raised a brow. "Footsteps?" he said. Lilac looked over my shoulder, looking at the bloodstains. Then she looked to the monitor that was beside the storage room, where the footsteps happened to lead to.
"And there's blood on the monitor too." I said. Lilac walked over to the monitor and examined it before pressing a red button that was on the side. Suddenly the monitor turned on.
"Oh...hehe, I didn't think.....I'd actually reach someone....." my eyes widened upon hearing the familiar voice.
"That's Zack!" I quickly stood beside Lilac, with Ulric and Rin hurrying to watch as well. I gasped. There he was, on the screen. He had one hand on his chest, which had a large gash across it, and was bleeding badly. I tried to look around Zack's surroundings, but it was far too dark to see.
"L-Listen....I-I can't explain....b-but, I-I don't think.....I'm gonna m-make it....hehe, this is a bad wound...." I covered my mouth, eyes widening. I don't believe this. He's right there....and I can't help him.
"B-But, if I die....t-there'll probably....be another trial, right? I-I can't do anything....l-like this....b-but, you gotta do....one thing. Get out....of here...." Zack said weakly. He coughed for a moment, blood dripping down his chin.
"Z-Zack...." I murmured. Suddenly Rin's eyes widened.
"Look, behind him!" he said. We all peered past Zack....and could barely make out the culprit through the darkness. It was uncertain who it was....but I saw them raising their arms above their heads, seemingly holding something heavy. I wanted to scream at Zack to run! To look behind him! To run away from the danger just behind him! But.....I knew I couldn't. But still....
