"NO! That isn't possible!" I stated. Kokichi raised a brow to me. "Oh? Don't think so, Violet?" he said.
"No, I don't! I know my sister! She'd never kill anyone under any circumstances! She wouldn't hurt a fly! So don't you dare try to accuse her!" I snapped. Kokichi only chuckled, crossing his arms across his chest. "Careful there, Violet, you can't let emotions control you in a class trial. Whether you like it or not, you have to be open to the possibility that anyone here can be a murderer! This is a game of suspicion, after all!" he said.
I shook my head firmly. "No, I refuse to believe it! I refuse to believe Lilac is a mur-"
"Calm yourself, Violet." Near said sternly. I flinched, caught off guard by his tone. He raised a hand to his head and began to twirl a strand of his hair between his fingers. "Let us hear what lilac has to say. So, Lilac," he said, looking to my sister, "How did that blood stain appear on your shirt?"
Lilac blinked, seemingly puzzled. She only tilted her head to the side, but I could tell she was only acting innocent. And Near could see it, causing him to narrow his eyes at her. "Lilac, you need to tell us how that stain got on your shirt." he said.
Lilac only looked away, seemingly shy. She slowly raised a hand over where the blood stain was in a weak attempt to cover it up. This only seemed to further frustrate the young detective. "Lilac, you need to explain yourself. In case you haven't noticed, you are now being recognized as a suspect for Zack's murder. Your name can't be cleared unless you defend yourself." he explained.
Lilac only responded with further silence, making me look at her wide eyed. No, why isn't she saying anything? I get she usually never speaks, but in a time like this....Lilac, say something! Anything! Unless....you really did kill Zack.
"Lilac?" I said.
"Lilac, don't tell me its true....don't tell me you killed Zack." Rena said. Lilac shook her head. "Then I ask again, where did you get that blood stain?" Near said. Lilac just remained silent, not even giving any sort of gesture with her body. I don't understand. If she says she didn't kill Zack, then how did she get that blood stain? And how come she won't come clean?!
Eventually, Kanato sneered. "Lilac, you must say something. If you do not, we'll all die. Do you understand?! So speak now!" he demanded. Lilac looked to him in surprise, seemingly shocked. Then she looked away. However, I perked up, realizing something Kanato said. Something very important.
"Kanato, what did you say? If you don't speak, we'll all die?" I asked. "Hold on a sec. If you said something like that, that means....you don't think Lilac is the culprit. No, you know she isn't. Cause if we were to vote for her, everyone would die. That's what you meant, wasn't it?" Junko said. Kanato narrowed his eyes, seemingly frustrated. He knows Lilac isn't the culprit? How? Wouldn't that mean....he knows how she got that blood stain?
"Kanato, what do you know? What aren't you telling us?" I asked. Kanato let out an exasperated sigh before sending a small glare to Lilac.
"How bothersome, I was hoping Lilac would simply explain everything. However, it appears she still prefers to hold her tongue, and since I prefer not to perish by everyone's foolish votes against her, I shall explain how she got that blood stain......she got it from me." he stated. My eyes widened. What....did he say?
"What? The hell are you talking about?!" Rin said. "Yeah, what the hell do you mean?!" Ulric said. Kanato chuckled before putting on a wicked smile.
"Well, in case it is unclear for you fools, I am a dark creature of the night. A vampire, if you will. And many creatures, especially ones such as myself......have their thirst that they must quench." he said. His eyes were wide, almost crazed. But I was frozen, taking in every word he said.
