We were all silent. Nobody knew what to say to that. Kokichi firmly believed that there was no hope, no point to living. Could anyone change his mind? I don't know, but....I wanted to try. I clenched my fists tightly. Crona sighed. "Maybe we should leave him be. If...if he wants this, then..." he murmured. I wasn't going to stand for it.

In a flash I ran forward, and leaped onto a shelf. Kanato's eyes widened. "Lilac, what are you doing?" he said. I ignored him, and climbed as much as I could. Kokichi looked down at me in shock, his teary eyes widening. "What the- Lilac stop! These shelves are unstable! I could barely get up here!" he said.

I ignored him, and kept climbing. However, when I grabbed a box to pull myself up, it fell forward. My eyes widened and I moved to the side, almost losing my footing as the box fell to the ground. Many large, metal tools hit the ground with loud clanging noises. "Shit, that could've fallen right on top of her...Lilac! Get down now!" Magane called out.

I shook my head and kept climbing. I noticed the shelf was feeling more wobbly as I climbed, turning my stomach upside down. But I climbed nonetheless. I was almost to the top, within reach of Kokichi. While hanging on one hand, I used the other to reach out to him. He just stared at me, speechless.

"Lilac, be careful!" Kanato said. I was much too focused on getting Kokichi. All I wanted to do was give him a hug. Tell him he wasn't alone. That we're in this together. However....the strength slipped away from my hand, and I accidentally let go of the shelf.

"Lilac!" Crona, Magane, and Kanato cried out in unison.

I only let out a soft gasp as I began to fall....until I felt someone grab onto my wrist with all their strength. I looked up, seeing it was Kokichi who had caught me, with both hands at that. He grunted as he attempted to pull me up onto the shelf. However, both our eyes widened....when we felt the entire shelf lean forward. Apparently the shelf couldn't handle our weight on one side, and began to fall over.

"Lilac! Kokichi!" Kanato cried out. Kokichi didn't waste any time. He gripped my wrist with all his strength, pulled me to his side, then had us both leap across to the next shelf. We both clung on as the other shelf fell over, crashing into the second one. Of course, as the domino effect goes, that caused our shelf to lean forward. "Hang on!" Kokichi yelled.

I nodded. We both clung onto that shelf for dear life as it toppled over...and hit the floor with a large crash. We couldn't even hear the others call out to us over the impact. I could hear boxes and tools crash onto the floor, hurting my ears. Dust perfectly covered the entire room, making me cough and sneeze. I could hear Kokichi do the same, sitting up.

"Are you alright?" he asked. I nodded and smiled at him. He then glared at me with teary eyes.

"You idiot! You realize how stupid that was?! At the very least, you could've gotten a ladder!" He snapped. I only smiled wider, then I wrapped my arms around his neck. He froze, seemingly shocked.

"You're not alone." I stated.

That single statement did it. He broke down into tears and hugged me tighter, burying his face into my shoulder. I didn't say anything else, silently holding him. Comforting him. Being his friend. Through the dust clouds that surrounded us, I could see the three shadows of Magane, Kanato, and Crona coming this way.

"Kokichi! Lilac! Are you both okay...." Kanato went quiet as he saw Kokichi crying. He looked surprised. But then he slowly smiled. It looked like an expression of relief. Relief that we were both okay, and that Kokichi was finally with us. Magane sighed in relief. "Geez, glad that's over." she said.

"Uh, did anyone else forget that in just moments these cameras will be working again...and Monokuma will not only see we're in here breaking the rules, but that we also made this huge mess?" Ragnarok said.
