everyone cheered loudly as the puppet show a few metres ahead started. felix licked his sugar pop and allowed it to settle in his mouth. "hyung, it's starting!"

"shh," changbin shushed him quickly and felix giggled as he covered his mouth. he looked at wooyoung and san, who also sat really close to each other. felix smiled — at least san wasn't doting on him anymore. he almost hated to say it, but he really didn't like san anymore — he had his binnie now.

"I don't understand old korean," felix whispered to changbin. the older sighed and leaned to felix as he pointed at the puppet show.

"there was once a princess," changbin whispered, "and her name was princess yeongshi. her parents, the king and queen of the blue kingdom, loved her dearly, and only wanted the best for her. they brought three suitors they saw was perfect for her. but only two of them were royals — the third was actually a peasant from the red village, and they were the enemies of the blue kingdom."

felix watched as the two prince puppets vanished and the princess stood alone with one of the princes.

"she fell in love with the peasant, and didn't like the others at all. the king and queen found out he was a peasant and from the enemy kingdom, so they tried exiling him, but the princess loved him. so they ran off together, and started their own kingdom — the mauve kingdom. purple was created when you mix red and blue, so they called it mauve. even if they weren't meant to be together, they cast aside their differences and found love."

the people began clapping as the puppet show ended. felix smiled softly. "what an amazing love story."

changbin stood up from the bench and held his hand out. "come, let's go explore."

felix stood up, taking changbin's hand in his own. "let's do that. san, you coming?"

san looked at felix and then at wooyoung with a soft smile. "uh, you two go on ahead. I think I want to be with wooyoung for now."

felix smiled widely and nodded. "we'll see you two around, then. enjoy your time, san!"

"we will," san nodded. he waved as he and wooyoung walked away. changbin sighed, bravely putting an arm around felix's shoulder.

"alone at last," he smiled. felix grinned pervertedly and stepped closer to changbin.

"suggesting something, my sweet binnie?" he asked. changbin laughed and shook his head. felix pouted and put his head on the older's shoulder. "aw, I was hoping that you were hinting at something."

changbin rolled his eyes. "not yet, lixie."

"when, then?" felix mumbled, fumbling with his fingers unsurely. "I mean, we both know each other really well, and we both like each other. what's the problem?"

changbin looked around before taking felix's hand in his own and draghing him away from the crowd. felix yelped as he was dragged into a rather empty alleyway.

"this probably isn't the right time," changbin began, "but I think you deserve an explanation."
