changbin bit his fingernail nervously as he stood at the exit of the airport. he heard the numbers of flights arriving and departing, yet he saw no sign of felix. he could be stuck in customs, but it was way past 11.

"relax," seungwoo rolled his eyes. "he'll come out soon. who would've known that your felix and my felix are the same felix?"

changbin smiled gently. "yeah — who would've known…?"

seungwoo smiled. "you must really like him — you don't usually bother with people."

"I don't like him," changbin defended himself quickly. "it's just… I promised I would meet him at the airport because we've never really met in person and he's really excited to meet me."

seungwoo looked up. "speak of the devil."

changbin turned around, his eyes drifting from person to person in search of the boy that he had befriended almost 3 months before. his eyes landed on a blonde male standing out from the crowd. he looked rather serious as he looked around, but as soon as they made eye contact, he smiled.

it was felix.

changbin felt his hands become clammy as the seconds passed. "seungwoo, that's him, right? the blonde guy?"

seungwoo raised an eyebrow. "is the great changbin nervous? wow, that's new."

changbin glared at him. "the great changbin? are you crazy, I'm still human, you idiot. of course I'm nervous, I've never seen him before, but—"

"binnie hyung?"

changbin stopped speaking and looked in front of him. felix stood just in front him, the biggest smile ever on his lips. changbin stared as well, his mouth slightly agape. felix pressed his lips together as he tried to hide his smile for a moment.

"bin, say something," seungwoo frowned. changbin felt his heart stop as he became more nervous with each passing second. so he did what he always did in pressuring moments.

he bolted.

felix watched as changbin ran away from them with a frown. he sighed. "that's definitely binnie."

seungwoo smiled and held his hand out. "hey, I'm han seungwoo, jisung's cousin. felix lee, correct?"

felix nodded. "that's correct."

"nice to meet you," seungwoo smiled. "come, let's go get you settled in. but let's put your stuff in the car, then go look for binnie."

felix smiled. "and he called me a coward…"

they walked to the car, which was parked just outside the exit. felix pouted as he looked around with a sad sigh. seungwoo smiled as he closed the car trunk. "you made him nervous, which is really rare because he's lowkey heartless."

"not with me. we're quite open with one another," felix smiled. he looked around, spotting the beanie changbin wore. "oh, there he is. I'll go get him."

felix ran down the pavement, rushing towards the beanie-clad boy. the boy was sitting against the wall, his head in his hands. felix smiled, plopping on the ground in front of him.

"binnie hyung?" he asked softly. the boy didn't look up, as he was clearly embarrassed. "you know, a certain boy called me a coward once. I wonder if I can reflect those words."

"don't call me a coward. I'm not a coward."

felix smiled. "come on, binnie. let's go get married."

"you're a crackhead."

"maybe."

"but a cute crackhead…"

felix grinned. "come on, binnie hyung. I want to go home and then spend all day with you."

changbin slowly looked up. "changbin. seo changbin."

felix smiled. "lee felix." he held his hand out with a grin. "nice to meet you, seo changbin."

"wow, we finally meet and you, have nothing to say."

changbin grumbled. "you're cuter than what you let on, that's all."

felix smiled a bit before unbuckling his seatbelt. he scooted over to changbin, clipping the middle seatbelt over himself. he put his head on changbin's shoulder, his eyes closing. "you're more handsome than you let on. I'm overwhelmed, really. you're cheeks are so cute up close."

changbin turned bright red. "shut your piehole, lee."

felix smiled. "gosh, we're really soulmates."

"no, Choi San is your soulmate," changbin corrected. "don't put that responsibility on me."

"what's wrong with being my soulmate?" felix pouted. "I'm likeable, aren't I? you're really mean, oh my god."

"there's nothing wrong with being you soulmate — it's just… you really like him, don't you?"

"not much since I met you," felix smiled softly. "I'd rather be with you now."

"just bit disappointed that we only became friends because you wanted to message him," changbin mumbled.

felix rolled his eyes. "stop being so dramatic. shush. I'm here now, and that's the only thing that matters, okay? we finally met, and I'm very happy. but I need to see my old friends tomorrow."

"you need to go home first," changbin muttered. "get some sleep first or something. settle in, relax. you just got off a flight. buy milk."

felix raised an eyebrow. "buy milk?"

changbin smiled. "it's a thing between me and hongjoong hyung. when I'm stressed he tells me to buy milk — so that I can take a walk. sometimes it's because he hasn't bought milk, other times it's because I clearly look stressed."

felix smiled. "you're truly a meme no matter what."

"even when I'm stressed," changbin chuckled.

felix lifted his head. "we're going to get to know each other today! much more than what we already know each other, okay? we'll be like… best friends for years."

changbin smiled. "like soulmates?"

felix smiled wider. "yeah. like soulmates."
