felix was nervous walking to the festival that day. changbin had to work half a shift that day, so he could only really attend the festival at 2pm. all he saw when he arrived was a giant flood of purple. he understood why, because mauve meant 'purple'. his eyes searched for anyone he knew, but it had been so long since he had been in korea, he could hardly navigate his way around.

felix sighed, looking at his watch. he was at the entrance, where changbin said they were supposed to meet. he sighed, biting his lips in worry — he was alone.

"lixie."

felix jumped slightly with a gasp, turning around quickly. he laughed and hugged the boy behind him. changbin hugged the boy as well, his arms going around felix's waist.

"ah, you scared me," felix laughed. he looked at changbin's huge purple hoodie with a smile, but gasped loudly when he looked at changbin's face. "ah, and you're wearing glasses! ah, you look so pretty!"

changbin laughed shyly, looking away as his cheeks tinted pink. "thanks. should we head in?"

"where's san, though?" felix asked, looking behind changbin.

"he said he was already inside," changbin replied. "let's just go, there's already a lot of people arriving."

felix and changbin walked in, glancing at all the different stalls selling different things in support of the mauve festival, such as keychains, stickers, t-shirts, even some street food and holiday sweets. felix forgot what it was like to attend the mauve festival — he had missed the last two, since he had left seoul a few weeks beforehand. he was glad that he got to attend the festival with changbin.

"changbin hyung! lixie!"

the two looked ahead and felix smiled widely when his eyes met san's. san grinned and waved madly at the Australian boy. felix caught the eye of the dark-haired boy beside san and smiled — san's date was really attractive. they finally caught up and everyone bowed at each other.

"felix, changbin, this is my date, jung wooyoung," san smiled widely. the boy smiled shyly and waved.

"hello, wooyoung," felix smiled as well. "let's get some snacks first, I haven't eaten all day."

"ah, I saw a crepe stall, we can go get some there," san suggested. he hooked his arm with wooyoung's and they began walking. "so how was your day, lixie?"

chsngbin glared slightly. that was his nickname for felix. why did san get to use it?

"ah, it was boring until now," felix sighed. "I was helping my boss clip flowers for her stall here. she was selling purple flower bouquets for couples, and we were really busy these past two days. her stall is somewhere here."

"we should get flowers, huh?" wooyoung smiled at san.

"I like flowers," san shrugged. wooyoung's smile fell a bit, and changbin could see. poor guy. he probably really likes san too, since he asked him to be his date for the festival. but all san wanted was to be with felix.

"binnie hyung, which crepe do you want?" felix asked as they neared the stand. "I want chocolate and strawberry!"

"me too," wooyoung said. changbin hummed in thought as he looked at the stall.

"banana," he replied.

"I want a raspberry one," san said yo the polite lady. she nodded and began preparing the desserts. felix's mouth was watering at the sight of the cream being squeezed.

"it looks so yummy…"

changbin laughed a bit. "you're like a kid."

"i'm baby," felix mumbled, smiling to himself. changbin agreed to himself, a small grin overtaking his features.

god, he just wanted to hold felix's hand, to hug him close, to kiss him, but he just couldn't. not yet.

not until he got rid of two people.
