Chapter 2: Gala

{Expect a lot of pictures and some side characters}

Jimin POV

Irene called us to a meeting so we are seated in the living room. She stands up and says, "There's going to be a gala in a few weeks. It's mostly for the big news and newspaper companies but they sent out invites to notable blogs, like us. A lady contacted me and is willing to sponsor us, which of course is great but we need to meet her at this gala."

Jennie then says, "Ok, I'll get myself a dress." Jaebum leans back and says, "Then it's settled, Jennie will go." Irene then says, "Well that's the problem, she wants to meet all of us." Jaebum sits back up and says, "Why? Jennie is good enough." Jennie scoffs and says, "Good enough?"

Jaebum continues, "Why can't she just go by herself?" Irene raises an eyebrow and says, "Why don't you want to go?" Jaebum chuckles awkwardly knowing that she's going to be there. Suddenly Jihyo enters the apartment and says, "Sorry, I'm late. I was busy."

Lisa giggles and says, "Yeah, busy." Jungkook and Bambam break into laughter as they realized what Lisa was saying. I raise my hand and ask, "Even me? I'm still new so do I have to go?" Jaebum ruffles my hair and says, "You work here right? If I have to go, you have to go." Irene sits aside and informs Jihyo of everything.

Jihyo is fully caught up and the meeting is adjourned.

A few days later

Jaebum takes me to go suit shopping because the gala is in a few days. He said he doesn't like going with Bambam because he's picky and takes too long. I agree and we go to a nearby store. Jaebum sees two familiar faces and quickly heads over.

That guy looks familiar. Jaebum introduces his friend, "This is Mark and Jinyoung, they work for another blog." The two bow and Mark says, "Wait a minute, were you the guy at the airport who spilled Rose's drink?" I then recognize his face and I say, "Yeah that's me! Sorry about that." He smiles and says, "It's ok. Are you guys also preparing for the gala?"

Jaebum sighs and says, "For some reason, we all have to go." Jinyoung sighs and says, "Yeah, for some reason Seulgi wants us all to go. She said it's an important sponsor." Jaebum tenses up with the mention of her name but my mind drifts away from the conversation.

Mina says, "Choose the red one. It'll look better on you." I answer her back, "Are you sure? It kind of makes me stand out, I'm not trying to gain too much attention." Mina replies, "Well, if you're going to buy a suit, might as well make it a really good one. I'm telling you, the red one is perfect."

I walk away from Jaebum and his friends. I ask the store clerk, "Can I try on the red suit?" I get my size and head to the fitting room. After I put it on, I look in the mirror and Mina gasps then says, "So handsome! I told you red was your color."

I end up buying the suit and Jaebum buys his shortly after. We make our way to the apartment to see Bambam and Jungkook bringing in their tuxes. We're ready for the gala.
