Chapter 17: Wedding

It's the day of the wedding and hundreds are gathered for the couple. Jihyo invited all her coworkers and insisted them to bring dates. Jihyo's bridesmaid is Irene as they have known each other for a very long time. Daniel chose his best man to be Jackson. As the wedding ceremony finishes, everyone socializes in the reception.

Although there are many family and friends, Daniel also invited many business partners. They were these nice old men who gave Daniel guidance and now work along him. Suddenly, the table of business partners quiet down and Jimin seems to notice this somehow. He looks towards their gazes and becomes breathless.

Rose notices him and asks, "What are you looking at?" The two turn to the entrance to see Bambam and Mina walking in. Mina's hand is wrapped around Bambam's arm as he carries a small present. They both go to Jihyo and Daniel. Mina says, "Congratulations, this is from both of us." They talk for a while as they catch up. Mina mostly thanks Jihyo for the help when she just started out writing.

Bambam hands the gift and says, "You can't give this back. No matter what." Daniel smiles and says, "Of course, it will be rude to return a gift." Mina looks at Bambam in shock and says, "Which one did you give him?" He smiles back at her and says, "My idea was better. So I went with it." She sighs as she could not do anything about it anymore.

Her facial expression turns bright as she rushes towards Seulgi and Rose. Mina squeals and says, "How's everything? I heard you guys got famous." Seulgi laughs and says, "We're doing great but nothing compared to you! Don't act like I never watch the news, you got really popular. Doing better than all of us combined." Mina smiles and answers back humbly, "All thanks to you!"

Rose then wiggles her eyebrows and says, "So? Are you dating Bambam or someone else?" Mina blushes and says, "No, Bambam is more like a brother and we established that long time ago. I'm too busy to date anyway." Lisa and Jungkook walks in to ask Mina where Bambam is.

Suddenly, a loud and old sound of laughter erupts the room and their eyes move towards it. Bambam is socializing with the old men. Mina excuses herself and says, "I'll be right back." The four watch as Mina joins the conversation and Bambam introduces her.

Jungkook says, "They really changed." Rose nods her head and says, "Mina use to be so shy but look at her now. Famous. Rich. Rich." Rose sees Jimin passing by and says out loud, "Jimin! Did you meet with Mina yet?" Jimin tries to avoid her because he feels awkward about talking to Mina again.

Rose grabs his arm and pulls him while yelling, "Mina!" The two see Mina laughing with Wonwoo. Jimin tugs her arm slightly and says, "Later, she's busy right now." She holds his arm and says, "Jimin, if you don't do it now you'll never do it." He asks, "Do what?" She says, "Talk to her. Make up. Find some closure."

Jimin glances at the two and she looks the happiest she has ever been. Shaking the thoughts from his head, he says, "Why do you even care?" Rose bites her lip and says, "Because... I don't see you look at anyone like you look at Mina." Jimin then asks confused, "What?" She sighs and says, "You look at Mina differently. It's obvious. You never looked at me like that ever, even when we were dating."

Jimin sighs realizing that Rose might be telling the truth but he can't bring himself to talk to Mina. He doesn't know what to say or if she hates him. He doesn't know if she forgot all about him or even want to talk to him. Countless thoughts ran through his heads while Rose waves at Mina to catch her attention.

Mina makes eye contact with Jimin and slightly pulls her dress up so she can run. Jimin stands there staring at her and she runs to him and embraces him in a tight and eager hug. He stands there confused and relieved at the same time. Mina says, "Where have you been? Why haven't you been answering my phone calls, emails, faxes, and texts? They told me you were dead!"
