Chapter 9: RIP

Author POV

Jimin finishes his meeting with Rose. He says, "So you're saying, Jaebum and Seulgi dated for 2 years then broke up. Then he met with Jennie but never dated her. Then Seulgi and Taehyung suddenly started a blog company. Jaebum and Jennie started one a few months later and they still aren't dating."

Rose nods and says, "Don't tell anyone I told you. I told Seulgi that this was a date so she wouldn't get suspicious." Jimin says, "That's ok, it's just Seulgi." Rose then adds on, "and Mina." Jimin widens his eyes and says, "and Mina?"

Rose nods and Jimin starts to panic for some reason. Rose giggles and says, "Why, does it bother you?" Jimin shakes his head and says, "Rose, I'll drop you to your apartment." Rose then says, "So you can meet Mina?" Jimin replies quickly, "Yes... I mean no... I mean, that's one of the reasons."

She raises and eyebrow and says, "What's the other reasons?" He replies, "Ummm... I like to walk?" Rose chuckles and they make their way to the apartment. Mina opens the door to see Jimin and Rose. She bows slightly then walks away quietly.

Jimin POV

Seulgi walks out of the room and Rose asks, "Seulgi, where you heading?" She notices the two of us and says, "You're date is over already?" I scratch my nape and say, "It was more of a breakfast thing." Seulgi nods then answers Rose, "I'm just shopping."

Rose smiles and Seulgi is off to go shopping. I see Mina laying down on the couch and watching TV and I approach her. She ignores me at first but I say, "Mina, you want to join me for lunch?" She continues ignoring me and Rose mouths, "Good luck."

I sit down next to her and poke her shoulders. Mina keeps ignoring but she'll get annoyed soon. For about an hour, I'm poking her shoulder and she doesn't seem to budge. I sigh and walk up to block the tv. She moves her head so she can get a better view but I continue to block it.

Mina then sighs in annoyance and pulls out her phone. I look around until I see their WiFi router. I unplug it and Mina glares at me. Suddenly, Taehyung yells, "WHO THE FUCK TURNED OFF THE WIFI! I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME!" Mina walks up to me and grabs the plug from my hand. She puts it back on the outlet and walks away.

I back hug her and complain, "Please~ You don't have to be jealous." She scoffs and says, "I'm not jealous." I roll my eyes and say, "Right. Is that a yes?" She looks in the pantry and refrigerator for food but they're both empty. Mina sighs and says, "Ok fine. Can you let go of me?"

I break the hug and guide her to my car. She asks, "Where are we going?" I smile and say, "It's a surprise." We end up in the small restaurant near a shopping outlet. I get a text and I look down on my phone.

Irene: Buy milk incase Bambam, Lisa, and Jungkook forget. Thanks.

...

The waiter comes and he takes our order. I notice that he eyes Mina and she's oblivious to it. Ok. He comes back with the food but this time, he makes a move. He gives a free appetizer and says, "For the beautiful lady." Mina smiles and says, "Thank you... Wonwoo."

He smiles back then proceeds to leave. I feel like a third wheel and he's not even eating with us. I ignore him, trying not to look jealous in front of Mina. Mina then says, "So how's you and Rose?" I answer back, "Fine, had a great breakfast today and talked about a lot of things."

She says, "Congratulations, I told you she was cute." I stop chewing and look up to her face. Mina avoids eye contact with me and I smirk. I say back, "We aren't dating. That was just an excuse so we could gossip about Jaebum, Seulgi, and Jennie." Her eyes look back at me then behind me.

Mina says, "Speaking of the devils." We see the three sitting in a table together. I then excuse myself to the bathroom. After a few minutes, I come back to see the waiter from before talking with Mina. But this time, she's laughing with him.

I walk slowly as I overhear their conversation. Wonwoo says, "I've never seen you here before, are you new in town?" She smiles and says, "Kind of, but I don't like going out of the house." He smiles brightly and says, "Me too, I only leave for work. I usually stay home, play video games, dabble in photography, write about whatever, and watch movies." Mina giggles and says, "I get exactly what you mean."

I sit down in my seat and he hands Mina the bill. I take it from her and say, "I'll pay for the meal." Wonwoo looks a bit worried and as I open the bill I see a note.

[This is my number. We should hang out sometime :P]

I glare at him then back at the bill. I scoff and throw it on the table causing a loud ruckus. I storm out of the restaurant.

Author POV

As Jimin storms out of the restaurant, Mina looks a bit worried. She takes the note and puts it in her pocket then proceeds to pay the bill. After bidding goodbyes with Wonwoo, she chases after Jimin.

After catching up with Jimin, she grabs his wrist and he sees her panting and exhausted. Mina says, "You invite me to a meal but not pay for it. What a gentleman." Jimin takes his hand back and says, "Why don't you stay at home with Wonwoo, I have to do some errands. OUTSIDE OF MY HOUSE."

Mina scoffs and says, "Who's jealous now?" Jimin laughs and says, "Not me, now let's get some milk." They stomp into the grocery store still arguing. Others assumed they were this married couple because of how frequently they argued. They get to the milk section and Jimin says, "Why don't you just flirt with the cashiers? They probably love staying home and playing video games too."

Mina says, "At least they don't bother people when they are watching tv, I could have been relaxing at home instead of here fighting with you." Jimin yells back, "Then go home! I didn't ask you to follow me."

Mina replies, "FINE! I'm going home maybe even call Wonwoo over since you're no fun." Jimin turns around and says, "What do you even see in him? I'm a way better guy than him." Mina says, "Firstly, he's taller..." Mina stops talking as she knows this offends him the most.

She looks at him apologetically and says, "Jimin, I didn't mean that." Jimin looks at her shocked and storms out of the grocery store, forgetting to grab the milk. Mina chases after him for the second time today, trying to get his forgiveness. They end up at Jimin's apartment.

He storms into his room and Mina chases after him yelling, "JIMIN I DIDN'T MEAN TO CALL YOU SHORT! I'M SORRY!" He goes in his room but before he could lock it she uses her foot to prevent the door from closing.

Mina says, "Why are you even jealous? It's not like we're dating." Jimin looks at her and says, "It just feels awkward you know. Seeing you talking to other guys." Mina says, "I get what you mean. But, we aren't dating so it gives us no right to be jealous. I don't want us to keep fighting, you're like a brother to me. I can't lose family."

Jimin stays quiet while his heart was just broken into millions of pieces. Bambam opens the door with Jungkook and Lisa behind him. He gasps out loud and Lisa says, "Don't worry I got you." She pulls out her wallet and throws a condom at Jimin. Jungkook says, "So does that mean Bambam is sleeping on the couch?" Bambam smiles and says, "No it's ok, I don't mind."

Lisa slaps his head and says, "Pervert. Leave them alone, hopefully they aren't as loud as Jaebum and-" Jennie clears her throat behind the three and says, "I dare you to finish that sentence."

{A big RIP for Jimin. My man just got trapped in the family zone. Hopefully, he'll be out of it soon.}
