Jen was satisfied with the information she had, enough to lead her to the intruder. She started her search by checking all the data related to the lab available on the server. No unusual activity was being tracked in the system. Everything seemed perfectly normal.

Then what exactly was he looking for?, Jen wondered.

She then made her way to Dr.Cho's Lab and interrogated each staff, herself. But much to her dismay, found nothing useful. She returned to her office and walked in her boss's cabin.

"Found anything?", Jen asked entering the cabin.

"Nothing. It was just a sniffing attack. Luckily nothing is altered or lost in our system.", Jeff replied.

"So you don't think this was a threat? And by threat I mean Hydra?"

"Stop overthinking Jen. It's a pretty common attack, can happen anytime. to anyone.", Jeff said rolling his eyes at Jen.

Jen chose to agree with her team leader and returned to her desk.

---------------------

A few days had passed by but Jen just couldn't let go of it. She just couldn't believe someone would sniff all the camera footage in the tower for nothing. She felt someone would have a motive behind it. But who? was the question. She had to know about it. If not Hydra, then who?

"You should stop thinking, Jen. You have now started obsessing over it.", Alex suggested.

"I know, I know but don't you want to know who was it? Don't you want to get to the bottom of it?", Jen argued.

Alex just shook her head in disagreement.

"Jen, honey, your inner detective is showing." , Alex mused while stuffing her mouth with pizza.

"True that", Jen nodded with a grin plastered on her face.

"By the way, what's up with the redwing? Any progress?", Jen inquired.

"Almost done. Just a few finishing touches and then I can finally return it to Sam.", Alex rolled her eyes in frustration.

"Is he giving you a hard time?"

"Trust me. You don't want to know!" , Alex grabbing yet another slice of their pizza.

Jen just laughed at her and continued eating.

While munching on her pizza, she felt someone gazing at her. She involuntarily looked up to see in that direction and immediately hit by those eyes. Those same, steel blue eyes. They captured her attention, blurring everyone else them.  Bucky! She recognized and a saw a smile form on his face. She straightened herself when she saw him walk at her table.

Panic started building up in Jen with every step he took. She started feeling nervous, happy and flushed all at once. Ignoring his constant stare, Jen made herself look busy having a conversation with Alex.

"Hey there Doc. I was looking for you." , Bucky said grabbing both, Alex's and Jen's attention.

"Doc? Doc who?", Alex asked wondering who was the super soldier  talking to.

"Doc." Bucky pointed at Jen sitting across her.

"Jen?" , Alex asked again looking confused. Why was he calling Jen a doctor?

So her name is Jen, Bucky noted and Bucky picked up a slice of the pizza from Jen's plate.

"I am not a Doctor", Jen replied focusing on him as he ate her pizza.

"No?" , Bucky asked observing her every move.

"No." Jen shrugged nonchalantly, patting herself mentally for acting cool in front of him. "I work in the IT Department. 54th Floor", she added.

"Then what were you doing in the lab the other day?"

"I was just filling in for any medical emergency in the tower as all the medical staff available was busy on the attack site that day.", Jen replied now looking at him. Damn those eyes.

Realization sunk in on Bucky's face on hearing Jen's reply. Chuckling to himself, he looked at Jen. Jen, the brown-eyed girl he was looking for, his search finally coming to an end.
