Baekho counted the minutes ever since Minhyun left. But minutes started ticking away quickly and soon it was about 10 minutes since he was gone. Baekho started getting worried. Where was the other? Wasn't he just going out for a breather? The wedding was just about in another hour or so. His phone vibrated and he jumped from surprise, quickly pulling it out to check who it was.
"We got the Hwang," the message wrote and Baekho sighed in relief, thinking it was Eun Jung that they had gotten. That was their plan after all. Stage a kidnapping with Eun Jung and have the wedding cancelled. It should all work out perfectly if things went as planned.
"Great. That's great," Baekho replied but he still walked around the room impatiently, wondering where the hell was Minhyun.
"But we weren't expecting him to put up such a fight so we had to use a bit of our strength. Hope that's okay. You didn't tell us he would scream."
Baekho's steps stopped abruptly as he saw the words him and he. He blinked. What. Without hesitation, he pressed the call button. The messenger picked up within the second ring.
"What the fuck do you mean by him?" Baekho asked immediately.
"We got the Hwang you asked for. He was all alone in the backyard earlier," the person responded from the other side of the call. Baekho felt his rage seething through as his next words came out like venom.
"You. Kidnapped. Hwang. Minhyun?!" he hissed as softly as he could so the guards outside wouldn't hear him.
"Is that his full name?" the man replied almost in a nonchalant tone that Baekho wanted to punch him.
"You asshole! That's the wrong Hwang! I'm the fucking bridegroom so why the fuck would you kidnap the male Hwang?!" Baekho snapped.
"What?"
"You made a fucking mistake. Where the hell are you now?"
"Uh... I'm in a separate car from the rest. I'm outside the back."
"You just fucking wait there. I'll come to you. I can't believe you!" Baekho growled and cut the call. So that was why Minhyun was taking so long. He had been taken but only this time, it was by mistake. He cursed himself for not making things clear enough with his friends. He thought they would know better but it seemed like they were just as dumb as Eun Jung expected them to be and now Baekho guessed he had unnecessarily traumatized Minhyun even more. He cursed himself over and over again as he opened the window, took a look around and jumped out. He sprinted as fast as he could to get out the back, hoping he won't run into any guards on the way out. Thankfully, he and Eun Jung had secured a path for their 'kidnappers' to leave from and he quickly dashed through, searching frantically for his friend's car. When he spotted it, he stormed right up to it and opened the door, slid himself inside and slammed it shut harshly.
"Hey, watch the car."
"You idiots! What did you do to him?!" Baekho yelled and grabbed his friend by the collar.
"Woah, shit. Calm the fuck down, Baekho. How were we supposed to know when you didn't specify the gender? That man was every bit as beautiful as a man could be and to be fair, he was alone in the backyard so I thought he was our target," his friend tried to reason with Baekho who really wanted to sock his friend across his face right now. Even though he felt enraged, he was at fault too and Minhyun was undoubtedly beautiful.
"Fuck, fuck fuck fuck FUCK!!" Baekho cursed loudly in the car while letting his friend go and gripped at his hair, not caring if he messed it up.
"Well, he was struggling a lot too so... The guys told me they kind of had to..."
