He opened his eyes and smiled. Greeted by the face of the one he loved and held in a warm secure embrace every morning felt like a dream. 3 months had gone by just like that ever since they ran away. From their families, from their old identities and from their old attachments. Minhyun didn't regret even a single second of it. He was finally free from his abusive father, ignorant mother and the responsibilities that were forced onto him. His every decision was carved out for him before this but now, he get to make his own decisions and he loved having that form of control in his own life. They were even going for therapy together. It was wonderful and liberating. Baekho opened his eyes and yawned, snuggling closer to Minhyun.

"Morning, sleepyhead," Minhyun said softly. It took them almost a whole month just to get this comfortable with each other. Minhyun still wore gloves during their daily life but when he was with Baekho, he would take it off. He was slowly getting more accustomed to it and being with Baekho was slowly but surely healing the scars that had been with him for most of his life. He had told Baekho about his father's punishments and how he got the scars. In exchange, Baekho had told him about his situation with his mother and grandfather and how he had become rebellious in the first place. They told each other the problems they used to face and felt more open to one another.

"Morning... Can't I sleep in a bit more?" Baekho mumbled and Minhyun laughed softly.

"No. It's not a holiday and you have a cafe to run."

"Right..."

Baekho had turned the shop lot into a cafe after researching the area and figuring out what a good addition to the neighborhood would be. Minhyun was by his side all the way and he was also smart enough to transfer some of Baekho's money into a separate bank account that couldn't be traced back so the other had money in store. Baekho swore if it weren't for Minhyun, none of this would have been possible. The other was smart and charming and some days, Baekho question why and how he got this male to like him back.

Their success with the cafe was unexpected but Baekho guessed it was because a lot of them happened to be teenage girls wanting to take a look at Minhyun. Minhyun believed it was the other way around though. He stood at the counter while staring at his hardworking currently boyfriend with a smile that could brighten up anyone's day even if it was directed towards Minhyun. A pair of girls came up to him and poked him.

"Hello. How can I help you?" Baekho asked.

"Um... Would it be alright if we ask for his number?" one of the girls asked shyly. Baekho blinked and pointed at Minhyun.

"You want his number?" he asked and they nodded. Baekho smiled and shrugged. "I'll ask him for it. Hold up."

Baekho scooted over to where Minhyun was. Minhyun noticed Baekho and smiled, wondering if he needed something. Without warning, he kissed Minhyun on the lips. The taller male almost dropped the glass he was holding in his hands but he managed to catch it again before it fell off completely. Minhyun blushed and pushed Baekho away while laughing.

"What the hell was that for? You're embarrassing," Minhyun scoffed when he realised people were looking at them.

"Oh, those girls want your phone number," Baekho said and Minhyun looked at the girls who Baekho were pointing at. Their faces red as well.

"Um! It's totally alright! Forget we ever asked!" the girl squeaked and they quickly left the cafe. Minhyun shook his head and knocked Baekho on the head.

"You're going to scare customers away if you do that."

"Aww but come on, how else would I be able to show off that this handsome tall gentleman is my boyfriend?"
