*This chapter will be told in Hailey's POV, then Rowan's.*
Once Rowan and Hailey were in the music venue, Hailey was having trouble processing the fact that she was actually at a Led Zeppelin concert. Hailey looked around, and saw some roadies helping to set everything up. Rowan looked at Hailey. "Do you want me to get you a drink?" She asked. "I'm thirsty, so I'll probably get myself one too." Hailey had zoned out, but she eventually snapped to attention. "Sure." She said. Rowan smiled. "Dr. Pepper?" She asked, knowing that Dr. Pepper was Hailey's favorite drink. Hailey nodded. Once Rowan was gone, Hailey cast her attention back to the stage, eagerly awaiting for the real show to start. Hailey decided to see, out of curiosity, how many people were in the crowd. There seemed to be thousands. Hailey couldn't help but feel a bit nervous. Then, she noticed Rowan heading over with a Coke in one hand, and a Dr. Pepper in the other. "Here you go." Rowan said, handing Hailey her Dr. Pepper. Hailey smiled gratefully. "Thanks." She said.
"Greetings, Sacramento!"
Hailey and Rowan both turned around to see the one and only Robert Plant standing on the stage, accompanied by Jimmy Page, John Bonham (known as Bonzo), and John Paul Jones (known as Jonesy). Hailey's heartbeat started to accelerate, and she heard the crowd beginning to scream. She found herself mainly focusing on Jimmy, and she only snapped back to attention when Led Zeppelin started playing Heartbreaker. Hailey seemed to be focused on Jimmy once again. She couldn't believe that this was all real. Hailey drowned out the screams and exclamations from the crowd, and focused on the guitar playing. The next song was Communication Breakdown, and then Tangerine played. Afterwards, Led Zeppelin disappeared backstage to take a break, and Hailey glanced at Rowan. "This..." Hailey began.
"Is amazing?"
Hailey smiled. "More than amazing." She said. "I can't even describe how I feel." Rowan smirked. "I also caught you staring at Jimmy most of the time." She said. "Looks like someone's got a crush." Hailey rolled her eyes. "No, I don't." She said. Rowan took a sip of her Coke. "I think otherwise." She said. Eventually, the concert continued, and more songs were performed. Hailey couldn't help but feel mesmerized by the sound and sight of Jimmy moving his violin bow across his Gibson Les Paul. To Hailey, Jimmy made it seem so easy, but Hailey knew that playing guitar with a violin bow was definitely not easy. Soon later, the concert had ended, and after Robert said goodbye to everybody and headed backstage with Jonesy, Bonzo, and Jimmy, Hailey swore that she saw Jimmy look at her as he left. Hailey looked back at Rowan, and she couldn't help but feel excitement. "Did you see that?" Hailey asked. Rowan raised an eyebrow. "See what?" She asked. "Jimmy noticed me...I think." Hailey replied. "I feel tempted to head backstage for some reason." Rowan stared at Hailey as if she had three heads. "Are you serious?" She asked. "That's...not a good idea. You'll probably get in trouble. If you want to actually meet Led Zeppelin, sneaking backstage is not a good idea." Hailey sighed. "Fine." She muttered. "I'll just see what happens." Hailey glanced around, and soon, she noticed a young man looking around, as if he was searching for someone. Once he spotted Hailey, he started heading towards her.
Huh?
Hailey looked at Rowan. "Um...there's this guy walking towards me." She said. "What do I do?" Rowan looked at Hailey, and then at the guy, who was getting closer. "He looks harmless." She said. "Perhaps he's a roadie. Maybe you've been noticed."
Really?
Hailey looked back at Rowan. "That's impossible." She said. Rowan shrugged. "Let him talk to you and find out." She said. Rowan smiled slightly once she saw the roadie tap Hailey's shoulder. Hailey turned around. "Um...hi." She said, smiling nervously. Rowan was right. This man didn't seem harmful, so she supposed she should be fine. "I assume you're the person Mr. Page requested to see." The roadie said, smiling.
