Hailey's POV

While Hailey was sleeping well, she was awoken when her phone rang at 4 A.M. Sighing, she went to pick it up, and it turned out Rowan had called her.

"Rowan, what is it?" Hailey asked tiredly. "It's four in the morning."

"Yea, sorry about that." Rowan apologized. "My mom woke me up and told me that we don't have school the rest of the entire week."

"Really?" Hailey asked, a smile forming on her face.

"Yea. I'm honestly happy about that. Finally some more freedom other than the weekends!"

"Well, before you know it, this break will be over and it'll be Monday again."

Hailey could hear Rowan sigh behind the phone. "Yea, you have a point." She said. "Might as well enjoy it while it lasts, though."

Hailey nodded. "Anyways, we both need to sleep." She said. "After all, it's four."

"Talk to you later."

Hailey's smile returned. "Talk to you soon, Rowan."

Hailey hung up and then fell back asleep. She felt happy knowing that she would have some days to actually relax and hopefully feel better and not as stressed, and perhaps she would be able to cope with her pain about missing Jimmy.

She also hoped that there would be a miracle somehow that she would be able to see Jimmy again some time.

Jimmy's POV

Jimmy had boarded a plane a day after staying at the hotel he was at. He decided that he was going to surprise Hailey by actually coming to California, even though he told her that he probably wouldn't (which was really a lie). He knew this plane ride was going to be quick, especially if he ended up falling asleep on the plane. A smile started to form on Jimmy's face as he realized that he was going to be seeing Hailey again. His heart had bled for days, and the only thing he could think about was seeing Hailey again.

Now, it was finally happening.

Jimmy looked out the window, watching as the plane started to rise up to the sky, and before long, the only thing Jimmy could see outside the window were clouds and England below the clouds. Soon, he'd be seeing American cities underneath those clouds.

Jimmy was beginning to feel tired and was about to fall asleep when suddenly it appeared as though some people on the plane had recognized him and were coming to him for autographs. It reminded him of the time he and Hailey were on a plane together, going to Pangbourne, except Hailey wasn't here to take photos. He wished she was, though.

Even though he really didn't feel like signing autographs and wanted to sleep instead, Jimmy signed autographs anyway, but just hoped there wouldn't be an overwhelming amount of people. Jimmy found himself signing people's casts if they had broken arms, vinyls, cards for people ("get well soon" cards as an example), and he even got a chance to sign some guitars, as there happened to be some people on the plane who were musicians, and Led Zeppelin fans. Jimmy had gladly took the opportunity to sign some Les Pauls, and Telecasters.

It only took around 30 minutes for the autograph-signing to be over, and when it was, Jimmy took the opportunity to fall asleep, and put his mind at rest. He felt happy knowing that when he would wake up, there would hopefully not be much time left until he was in California and would see the person he had been waiting to see again for months.

~~~
When Jimmy had woke up, he looked out the window to see cities below the clouds, and they looked familiar to him.
American cities.
Instantly, a smile formed on his face. Hopefully it wouldn't be too long before the plane arrived in California. He couldn't believe that the plane was finally in America, and it all seemed like it had only taken a few seconds for him to fall asleep, wake up, and learn that he was nearly there. Eventually, after what felt like only a few minutes, the plane had landed.
I'm finally here, Hailey.
Hailey's POV
Hailey headed downstairs, wearing casual clothing. She had decided to take her bike with her and go outside for a while, and ride around. Now that there was no school for mainly the entire week, Hailey figured that she could go exploring around Sacramento. Hailey's mom had told her that she wasn't going to be home for a few hours, so the first thing that had come to Hailey's mind was exploring.
Once Hailey had her bike with her and she was out of the house, she got on her bike and headed on her way. She had heard of there being a forest with a lake nearby, and figured she could go there to relax and enjoy nature. Hailey loved forests as much as she loved nature, and she liked going to forests whenever she felt like she needed to cool down. During school, though, it never really seemed possible.
Hailey looked around her as she rode her bike. She felt quite happy and content, for some reason. It felt nice to be feeling those feelings again, when previously, the only feelings she had ever felt were sadness and pain, as well as stress.
As Hailey was getting closer to the forest, she saw more trees, and then she saw a sign that had the name of the forest carved into it. Hailey parked her bike by the sign and got off of it, heading into the forest. Currently, Hailey was focused on looking for the lake located in the forest. It shouldn't be too far from here. Hailey told herself.
Hailey slowed down her walking pace and took some time to look around her. She drew in a deep breath, enjoying the nice, fresh air of the forest.
Then, she heard footsteps.
Hailey's attention was immediately focused on the footsteps, but then she figured that they were just belonging to another person who was probably also taking time to wander around the forest and explore.
Focusing back on finding the lake, Hailey continued on her way, but as she continued walking, she kept hearing the footsteps, but she had no clue where they were coming from.
"Who's there?" Hailey called out.
No answer.
Sighing, Hailey continued walking, and she began to hear the sound of water rippling. Hailey turned on her left, and began to see a gorgeous lake, and then she heard the footsteps again. Closer, they sounded.
Hailey turned around to see someone walking seemingly towards her. As the person came into better view, Hailey could recognize long, dark hair, and a slender form. The man eventually stopped, looking at her.
Jimmy.
If you have gotten this far, congratulations. You're just one step closer to the ending.
After this chapter is the epilogue, and then Living Loving Maid is done, for now. There is definitely going to be a sequel eventually, if I decide to work on one.
