After Scarlet had fallen asleep, Hailey had went in the guest bedroom and went back to sleep. In her honest opinion, she was glad that she managed to get out of that awkward conversation with Scarlet. In her opinion, things were going to be awkward for her anyway now that she was with Charlotte and Scarlet, who were Jimmy's family. Just what I need. Hailey thought. Now I'm in a goddamn love triangle.

Hailey then heard the door open, and she tried not to pay attention to it. She kept her eyes closed, even though she was clearly awake. She opened her eyes, and saw Jimmy. "What are you doing here?" Hailey asked, not bothering to sit up.

"Choosing to keep you company." Jimmy answered, getting into bed with Hailey.

"You don't have to." Hailey said. "It's not like there's going to be a monster under the bed trying to kill me." She added a lighthearted chuckle with what she said.

"You're acting like you're trying to avoid me." Jimmy said, smirking. "Which...you can't do."

Hailey started blushing. "I'm not trying to avoid you, Jimmy." She said. "I know I can't avoid you anyway. I don't think I'll ever be able to as long as we're both alive."

"You know I love you, right?"

Hailey looked at Jimmy. "But...you can't." She said.

"How so?" Jimmy asked.

Hailey sighed. "Charlotte." She answered. "You know she's going to find out one of these days. Scarlet, too. She already asked me if I love you because she said the reason why I'm staying here sounded romantic."

Jimmy pulled Hailey close to him.

"You think that's gonna stop me? Because nothing is."

"Talk about unrequited love. Now, go to sleep, you big baby."

Once Jimmy had eventually fallen asleep, Hailey stared blankly at the door that was closed. A thousand thoughts went through her mind, most of them worries. She tried to replace those thoughts with happier thoughts. Apparently Jimmy had been only half-asleep, as he seemed to notice that something was wrong.

"Are you okay?" Jimmy asked.

Hailey sighed. "Yea, I'm fine." She lied.

"No, you're not." Jimmy said. "I can tell."

Hailey turned around to face Jimmy. "Look, I just keep worrying about this whole situation." She answered. "I'm just...really worried about Charlotte finding out and how she'll react. Then, there's Scarlet. She's only a child, and I would hate for her to be caught in the middle of all this."

Jimmy sighed. "I promise you, Charlotte's not going to find out." He said. "I'll make sure of it."

"How?" Hailey asked.

"When we're around Charlotte and Scarlet, we act like we're friends." Jimmy explained. "When we're not around them or if they're away, we act how we normally would and would do what we normally would."

Hailey began to feel slightly relieved. "Do you really think that'll work?" She asked. "I mean, it sounds like it would, but I don't know."

Jimmy smiled a reassuring smile. "Trust me, it'll work." He answered.

Hailey smiled and felt her worries finally go away, and eventually, she had managed to fall asleep.

Hailey sat on the couch, watching television with Scarlet. Scarlet had wanted to watch The Adventures of Rupert Bear, and had requested that Hailey watch it with her. Hailey had heard of the show before, but she only knew it as My Little Rupert when she was younger. Hailey figured the reason why it had a different title was because it was different titles in different countries, perhaps.
