Being that this "chapter" is the epilogue, it will be a bit shorter than normal chapters.

Hailey couldn't believe her eyes. She just couldn't. Hailey couldn't tell if she was hallucinating, or if this was real. None of it seemed real at all. Didn't Jimmy tell me he probably wasn't coming to California? Hailey thought.

Hailey walked closer towards Jimmy.

"I thought you said you weren't possibly coming to California." She said. "You told me that, Jimmy. I heard you say it."

Jimmy took a few steps closer towards Hailey. "It was a surprise." He said. "The whole reason I came to America was so I could see you again. Every day, my heart bled. I feared I would never see you again, especially after Robert's car accident. I was originally not supposed to be here, but Charlotte told me that I could see you again, so I took the opportunity."

Then, Jimmy took more steps towards Hailey, until they were only a very short distance from each other.

"What was between us isn't over, Hailey. It never was, and never will be."

Jimmy got closer to Hailey, and pulled her into a long and passionate kiss. Hailey didn't want to let go, and wanted this closeness to last forever.

A few moments later, Jimmy broke the kiss and looked into Hailey's eyes.

"I love you." Jimmy said in a murmur.

"I love you too, Jimmy."

Hailey opened the door of her house, leading Jimmy inside. Hailey had figured that her mom would be home by now, as she had said she would be gone for only a few hours. When she opened the door, though, Hailey didn't see a single sign of her mom anywhere.

"Stay here." Hailey told Jimmy. "Just find somewhere to sit down."

"What is it?" Jimmy asked.

"I'm looking for my mom." Hailey answered. "She should—"

Moments later, Hailey heard a voice.

"You were looking for me?"

Hailey turned around to see her mom, smiling. "Oh, hey, mom." Hailey said, smiling. "I didn't see you, so I thought you weren't around."

Hailey's mom giggled. "I was just reading a book." She explained. "You don't need to worry."

Then, Hailey's mom noticed Jimmy sitting on the couch. "Well, look who's here!"

Jimmy did a shy close-mouthed smile, and waved. "Hi."

Hailey's mom then raised an eyebrow and looked at Hailey. "I thought you two weren't together anymore?" She asked in a whisper.

"We got back together." Hailey answered. "He came to America, specifically California, because he missed me."

Hailey's mom smiled. "That's nice to hear." She said, before looking back at Jimmy. "So, Hailey told me you two are together again."

Jimmy nodded. "She's correct." He said, his smile returning. "I really do fancy your daughter, if I may be honest. Being away from her for such a long time was a painful experience. I think she put a spell on me. Well, she'd probably do that for anyone."

Hailey started to blush. "Jimmy, stop." She said, laughing nervously.

Jimmy looked at Hailey and then looked back at Hailey's mom. "To be honest, when Hailey told me she hadn't had any experiences with other men before," He continued. "I was frankly surprised."

Jimmy breathed a dreamy sigh. "You know, when I saw her in the crowd—"

Hailey instantly started heading off towards her room, flattery taking over her. "I'm out." She said, raising her hands.

Jimmy got up from the couch and followed after Hailey. "Where do you think you're going?" He asked, a bit of a teasing tone in his voice.

"You flatter me too much, Jimmy." Hailey said, turning around.

Jimmy pretended to look surprised. "Should I be offended?" He asked.

Hailey giggled. "No, you shouldn't be." She answered.

Now, Jimmy pretended to look relieved. "Good." He said.

"Sometimes, I wonder how you two managed to get together."

Jimmy turned around. "Well, it's simply because your daughter is—"

Hailey turned around and instantly hurried to her room, closing the door and hiding under the blankets of her bed so she hopefully couldn't be found.

"Oh, looks like somebody didn't leave their door locked. Bad idea."

Hailey heard the door open and she tried not to laugh. She could hear Jimmy's footsteps.

"Hm, I wonder who's under those blankets."

Hailey felt Jimmy get on top of the bed, and she couldn't contain her laughter anymore. She started to giggle underneath the blankets. Jimmy quickly removed the blankets.

"Hah! You can't escape from me, foolish girl!" Jimmy said in a dramatic tone of voice, as if he was trying to sound like a character from a Shakespearean play.

"Alright, I give in!" Hailey exclaimed, laughing.

Jimmy giggled before a mischievous smile then started to appear on his face. "You're ticklish, right?"

"Jimmy, don't you dare—"

The only thing that could be heard from Hailey's room was laughter as Jimmy and Hailey engaged in a playful tickle fight.
