Chapter 20

So it looks like we have a new character POV added to the mix, and it's charlotte's

Charlotte's POV

Charlotte didn't really have a single understanding of what was going on. Everything just...didn't seem right. Those marks on Hailey's wrists really heightened up Charlotte's suspicions, and she was able to tell through Hailey's mannerisms that she definitely was hesitant to answer her questions, and it was like she was lying to try and hide something. Jimmy, too. When Charlotte had asked him if he knew what had happened to Hailey, he seemed to have known the answer, but said something else instead. Nothing was making sense to Charlotte, and she was starting to feel worried, particularly about Hailey. Was Jimmy doing something to Hailey? Then, there was the other theory that made Charlotte feel even more nervous and worried.

That other theory was Jimmy and Hailey actually being in a relationship.

Charlotte couldn't imagine Jimmy and Hailey being together, and she didn't want to. Hailey just...looked so young, and looked younger than Charlotte. Hailey looked like a teenager. Jimmy was a full-grown adult. Charlotte had known that Jimmy had hooked up with teenagers before, but it hadn't happened in a while. Charlotte was surprised that Jimmy hadn't been caught, but she figured it was all just "oh, it's just rock 'n roll". She didn't want to spend all of her life continuously worrying about this whole situation, and she didn't want anything to happen to Hailey. She knew how Jimmy was, and if Jimmy and Hailey were actually together, she was worried that something would happen to Hailey.

Charlotte took a deep breath and figured that she would have to talk to Jimmy sooner or later, and decided she would do it now. Charlotte took a deep breath and tried to gather her emotions. She headed off to Jimmy's room, and as she did, she could hear giggling, but she didn't know where it was coming from. Charlotte looked and wandered around, until she realized it was coming from Jimmy's room. She sighed and went over to the door, trying to see if she could hear anything besides giggling. She eventually managed to pick up a conversation.

Hailey's POV

Hailey couldn't stop herself from giggling as Jimmy seemed to be in an affectionate mood, planting kisses along Hailey's neck and collarbone. "Oh my God, Jimmy!" She exclaimed, still laughing. "Stop!"

"I take it that you're ticklish." Jimmy said. "Perfect reason for me to not stop."

Jimmy continued to leave kisses, still getting some giggles from Hailey. "You're so cute when you laugh." He said, smiling.

"You're such a romantic, Mr. Page."

Jimmy's smile started turning into a smirk. "Yea, I know." He said. "I'm quite good at it. You just happen to be lucky that I set my sights on you. Although, who wouldn't set their sights on such a lovely girl like you?"

Hailey tried not to blush, but she found herself having difficulty fighting it. "Oh, would you shut up?" She teased.

Jimmy only continued to kiss Hailey again, and once he reached her lips, he let his kiss linger for a few moments.

"Is there anything I don't love about you?" He then asked, smiling.

"No, I don't think there is." Hailey answered.
