✯BRIGHT LIGHTS illuminated the sweat staining her skin. Her baggy tank top darkened in color around the collar, her curls stuck to her neck. Every bruise that littered her skin was on full display for her pleased boyfriend. His eyes took her in like a predator, calculating her moves, finding her error. She groaned loud, the noise bouncing off the empty walls. He clicked the remote in his hand, stopping the track. With a confident smirk on his lips, Junhui stared down his girlfriend, watching her shrink beneath his gaze. "You're pathetic," he voiced, scoffing in disbelief. "You've been at this for an hour and you still haven't gotten it right. It's a good thing you aren't male." She crossed her sweaty arms over her chest as her dark eyes rolled skyward in annoyance. She was starving, being that he refused to get her breakfast, claiming that it would only slow her progress.
His smirk seemed to drop as he watched her stance. "You wouldn't have even debuted if you were a guy. You should be more like your brother." She whirled around to face her boyfriend. Her face had grown hot, her ears burning red as anger seemed to surge through her small body. "That's enough!" she shouted, taking both she and her boyfriend by surprise. Her chest rose and fell heavily before she wiped the sweat from her forehead. "I asked you to come here with me to help me, and all you're doing is making me feel worthless!" His eyebrows pinched together. He knew what he was doing. To most, it would be obvious. Yet, that veil still covered his dark tendencies, creating a beautifully angelic aura that Sunny had created around him. "I'm trying to push you to work harder!" he replied, his voice heavy. She turned back toward the mirror with a huff. "Then start the music."
Her sweatpants hung low on her slim hips. If it wasn't for the tie, they would surely fall off of her. The music blasted through the speakers, resonating off the walls and echoing in her ears. She let her eyes close for a moment before she started her movements. She was sharp, something Junhui despised. His eyes narrowed as he watched her continue the routine. Though his mind did scatter the moment the love bites around her waist became visible. The deep purple became bright against her flushed skin, the sweat glistening as droplets fell down her pants. She was just about to turn when she accidentally stepped on her shoelace, tripping herself. She caught her body before it could hit the ground completely with her hands, her breaths loud and heavy. Junhui watched as she eased herself onto the floor.
The remote to the speakers should have cracked under the pressure of his thumb. The music turned off abruptly, and the only thing to be heard where Sunny's pants and Junhui's shoes squeaking against the floor. He halted in front of his tired girlfriend, a devious glint in his brown eyes. He knelt before her. "You're lazy," he stated, flicking her forehead. She gasped at the new found pain, quickly covering the spot with her hands. He took that as an opportunity to grab her wrists and haul her off of the floor. "You're never going to achieve much being the way you are." She screwed her eyes closed, ignoring his tight grip on her arms and the sudden way her legs seemed to turn to jelly. "You'll never be successful unless you start working like an idol, Chinsun. You're weak and immature." Tears burned her eyes. His words felt like daggers into her heart.
