MINNIE RAN through the dorm as quickly as she could and slammed into the closed door of hers and Sunny's shared room. Everything was gone. Her bed was torn apart, hangers littered the floor, and there was no trace of Sunny anywhere. Her heart thumped louder within her ears. Minnie's eyes scoured the room as tears began to form. "Oh, God," Miyeon gasped upon reaching the door. Not even Sunny's BT21 headband was left behind. A sickening feeling washed over the group as Minnie finally turned to face them. "She's gone!" she exclaimed, picking up the sheet strewn over the floor, her eyes full of sorrow. "She left!" She stumbled forward, her knees falling to the floor near Sunny's bed.
After the argument between Sunny and Eunnie had ensued, and then Namjoon's surprise confession, Sunny had decided to stay back while the girls had gone to eat. She laid in her bed and cried most of the night before, refusing to let Minnie, or anyone, lay with her. They thought it was because of her not wanting to bother anyone, but that couldn't be the case. Soyeon's footsteps echoed within the silent dorm as she raced to the bathroom. The door whizzed open, the handle cracking against the wall, and the light flickered on. "She wouldn't have just ran away," Minnie argued. The other girls wanted to agree, but there was that little flicker of doubt.
