Theory Five

Chapter 4-Tests

I've spent most of the night with Five. We sat and talked. Five was lying down on the bed staring at the ceiling as I got up from  floor and walked over to him.

"It's now midnight. I think it's time for me to go." I said. He looked up at me lazily as if to say "try to leave see what happens." Challengingly his look I walked to the door and opened it.

I looked behind me but he wasn't on the bed anymore. I began walking out of the cage before arms went around my waist and pulled me to a hard surface[which was Five's chest].I was pulled back into the cage and onto the bed.

"You need to stop doing that." I said chuckling.

"Mmm no." He whispered which sent shivers up my spine.

"Why not?"

"I don't want to." The lights turned off and a blanket was placed on top of us. Silence filled the room. All I could hear was Fives breathing along with mine. I felt his breath as his head came closer to my neck he snuggled into it and sighed.

"Athe?" He asked.

"Mmm?" I responded my eyes closing feeling very tired all of a sudden.

"Why do you let me do this to you?"

"What do you mean?" He sighed.

"I mean like why do you let me snuggle into your neck? Why do you let me put my arms around your waist and pull you towards me??"

"I don't let you put your arms around my waist. You do that every time I leave so I don't have a choice in that. As for the first one I'm not sure." I said. I was actually starting to question why I let him do these things. I mean I shouldn't let him do them. Should I??

"Well I don't want you to leave me. "

"Why not?" I asked him. I could feel his whole body tense up as the words left my mouth.

"I don't know. I just don't want you to." He whispered. I nodded. The door leading into the hallway opened and a figure stepped into the room. A growl came from Five I was pulled into his chest again.

"Athena? You in here?" the figure said. Wait... that voice sounded familiar.  That's...Ares!

"Ares?" I questioned the figure.

"Athena! I'm glad your okay. I was worried about you. Your mom said you came here around eight to get the.......thing to eat." Ares said the words like he was disgusted of them.

"He has a name." I snap. Five growls were turning into a vicious noise.

"What's his name then?" Ares asked.

"Five."

"Five?" If I could see Ares face I bet it would be filled with shock.

"Yes.Why are you here Ares?"

"Dr.Rosa wanted to run some tests with Five. But,she needs him to come to a another place to be able to take those tests. And she thought he wouldn't come willingly so she wanted me to get you but sense your already here may as well come along. "

"Oh. What kind of tests?"

"Umm I think it was physical, mental, and emotional."

"You want to take some tests?" I asked Five. His growling and the other vicious noise stopped when I talked to him.

"No but if your there I'll do it." Five whispered into my ear sending shivers down my spine.

"Alright we'll go." I said standing up and walking out the door and into the lab part of the basement.
