Athena's POV:
"Did you see that?" I asked Five. My voice felt rough in my throat. I coughed to try to get rid of the feeling.

"Oh Athe you spoke." He said wrapping his arms around me and kissing my cheek.I nodded.

"Water." I croaked. He took the pitcher from my bedside table and filled a cup with water. He held it up to my lips I drank wanting more and more.

"Slow down." He instructed. I did taking small sips until I satisfied my thirst.

"Did you see it?" I asked testing out my voice.

"Yes." He said lowering his head.

"What's wrong?"  I asked lifting up his chin.

"Come with me." He got up and left the infirmary. We were in a different base, I could tell by the buildings and the fact that it was just a bunch of tents.

We took a left and headed down a row of pale blue tents all different in size. He took a right and I followed not far behind. He stopped at a plain white tent held up by white poles. He lifted the flap to enter. I entered looking around.

It was neat, organized, and nicely decorated. A woman sat in a armchair her eyes closed, her chest heaving up and down.

"Who is she?" I whispered politely.

"I'm Madame Teller. I tell the future of others or the harsh truth that they don't want to hear. It's up to what they're seeking. I sense you have come to me to explain something to Athena. Am I correct?" The woman spoke her head turning towards Five. He nodded awkwardly.

Her eyes flashed open and she motioned first is to sit down. She leaned forward in her chair. Her eyes were glassed over like she could see but she couldn't. She must have known I was watching her because her head snapped towards me. It was scary looking into her eyes.

"Don't be scared child I'm only blind." She said.

It didn't help I was still scared.

"Can we get one with it?" Five snapped.

"Alright Becker. In the infirmary you and Five had a vision. Of a boy and girl holding a knife and heart is that correct?"

"Yes but-" I was I interrupted by Madame Teller holding up her hand.

"I know you have questions child but please let me explain. That vision meant something has changed for better to worse that's really hard to tell. Your future doesn't say  much about the vision nor does his. Remember when you first met Five? How he could talk to you but no one else? Well, he can no longer do that. That's because of a connection that y'all had shared before coming here. It was made when both of you were born. At the same time during an eclipse. The connection was made and was suppose to be forever until someone intervened. Five you must explain the rest. It wouldn't be right coming from me."  She finished up.

"Five?" I asked. He refused to look at me.

"Athena. That vision meant that we were never suppose to be together in the first place. It seems that whatever or whoever controls the connections between people made a mistake with us. We can't be together anymore. It wouldn't be right. I'm sorry Athena. I really am. The person that you're suppose to be with is in the next tent two rows over. His name is Robin. He's your age. You'll figure out the rest for yourself."

"What about yours?" I asked.

"Her name is Lily. I've been best friends with her since birth. She's actually pregnant with my child. Before I left for your island she became pregnant. But I knew I had to go to find an answer to the mysterious pains I was having. I found out you were the reason why I had the pains. I broke our connection. I don't feel the same after I learned who you had fallen in love with. I'm sorry."  He said. He got up and left without another word. He left me sitting in there heartbroken and clueless.

"Child go find Robin." Madame Teller told me. I followed her words and found Robin in his pale orange tent drinking juice. He smiled when I walked in.

"Hi I'm Robin."  He said.

"I'm Athena."
