Athena's view:
"Strike harder." Five instructed as I hit my opponent harder in the chest. My opponent grunted but didn't back down. I striked again but this time with my force and eagerness."Good." Five said. He had been training me for hours now and we still had more stuff to do, so that I was ready for the Raid next week. Five at first didn't want to train me so when someone else offered to step in and train me he said he would. With a final blow my opponent fell and I pointed my wooden sword at his throat.
"Good. Now come over here." Five ordered. I walked over to him but didn't turn my back on my opponent. From what I learned from movies you never turn your back on your opponent.
"Hey there." Five whispered in my ear chuckling. I jumped when I felt his lips against my neck, which made Five laugh harder. I scowled are him before turning around. Five pulled away and brought me over to a rack where they kept all the harnesses. I removed mine from around my torso and dropped the wooden sword near the rack.
"Now, time to show you how to use healing runes." Five said before adding, "James take a break and help your sister with her stand will you?"
"Yes sir." James replied. The door opened and closed as James left the room.
"Alright,"-Five faced me and pulled something from his pocket-"This is a Rune marker. It creates Runes to help us in battle." It was a long slender sort of thing, that looked like a stick but was covered in glowing markings.
"This markings on the Rune Marker are Runes. It's what helps us create the Runes. Now, the most important Rune you have to know is the healing Rune. Here let me show you." Five motioned for me to put my arm out.
I did as he asked and stuck my arm out Five used the Rune Marker to create a Rune one my skin. There was a burning sensation at first but it went away as Five drew the Rune Marker away from my skin. On my skin was a marking, it was glowing a faint blue. It flowed for a while before it died down and all that was left was the Rune.
"Now that I drew the Rune on your arm you will remember it and you can draw it on others."
"Miss he said that he shouldn't be disturb while training Athena please Miss what until-" a voice said before the doors opened with a bang. And on the threshold stood and angry looking Layna. When she stopped Five she stormed over to where Five and I were.
"You." She said pointing a finger at him. Five pulled me behind his back.
"What's wrong?" He asked calmly. He's calm down someone who is being blamed for something, I thought.
"You said...You-" Layna's breath caught in her throat and she started coughing. Five handed her a bottle of water that I didn't see before. Layna took it with a small "thanks" and drank it.
"Tell me what happened." Five asked. Layna went into a story of how she ran into the old city and killed a group of Crows. She ran into a little girl by the name of Sofia, her parents were dead and she had the power to talk through and with fire. She had found a building where Sofia and a group of people had been building camp. The leader of the group was called Jessie apparently she was Johnny's sister and she was the trading commander before she got lost during a Raid.
"She has been in plain sight the whole time. You told us to stop looking for her because it was wasting soldiers. She knows why we didn't continue the search and she doesn't hate us. But, she is in the Raiders Hotel with her companions and the little one." Layna finished up. Five nodded and turned around to face me.
He planted a kiss on my cheek before saying to Layna, "Let's go talk to her. Mary continue to train Athe and make sure she prepared for the Raid next week." Five directed the last part to a girl standing in the door way. She had blonde hair in a ponytail, and green eyes.
