Scott's POV

Ever since that night that I stupidly punched the wall, Mitch and I have been perfect. Tonight, I'm gonna take him to a movie that's playing in the park. It's meant for kids, but he absolutely loves Frozen, so why not?

"Mitchieeeeee!" I yell.

"Scottieeeeee!" he yells back. I can't help but to grin.

"Hurry up! You're taking forever!"

He struts out and strikes a pose.

"It takes awhile to look this good."

"You're always beautiful, Mitchie."

He walked up to me and pecks my lips.

"Ready to go, Susanna?"

"I have been for about twenty minutes, Matilda. We're gonna be late."

He puts his pointer finger up to my mouth.

"Hush. A queen is never late. Everyone else is simply early."

"Stop quoting the Princess Diaries, and let's go."

I grab his hand and we walk out the door.

"Where are we even going?" he asks while getting into the car.

"It's a surprise."

"No, no, no. Last time you told me you had a surprise for me, we went to that party, and I ended up having to eat a spoonful of applesauce for a dare."

"You were drunk."

"Well, it still tasted like shit, and I couldn't use my last chicken on that."

He looks out the window to see open fields. I'm taking the back way to the park so we doesn't know where we're going.

"Scott, are you gonna take me somewhere and murder me?"

"No, Mitchie."

I stop the car and get a blindfold out of the backseat. Once I pull it out, Mitch's eyes get wide.

"Scott, I didn't mean to spill coffee on the carpet."

"I'm not gonna hurt y--you spilled coffee on the carpet?"

"I did no such thing. You have no proof."

"Mitchie, put the stupid blindfold on."

"Aye aye, Captain."

When we arrive at the park, I take the blindfold off of Mitch.

"You went through all of this for the park, babe?"

"Let's go. You'll see."

When we get to a bare spot, I lay down a blanket and we both sit down. The beginning song of Frozen begins, and Mitch's face glows.

"Frozen?!"

"Yes, babe."

"You're the best." He leans over and gives me a hug.

After the movie, we get home and get into Mitch's bed.

"Can I ask you something?" I asks him.

"Anything."

"Why didn't you tell me how depressed you were when I was with Alex?"

"I didn't think you would care."

"You see these bracelets, Mitch?"

He held up both our wrists, showing our friendship bracelets that we've had since we were ten years old. I haven't taken mine off since. I'm now almost 21 years old.

"I am and always be your best friend. I will always care. Never forget that."

"Thank you." he says.

"For?"

"Being amazing."

"I love you."

"I love you too." he says, snuggling close to me.
