Something I didnt want to know

-Mackenzie POV-
I cleaned up messy face and sat on my bed. My dad came around the corner, "Im going to buy Chinese for tea" He said smiling "Okay, i think I will stay here and rest" I smiled. "Okay. I wont be long" He said shutting the door slowly. Once I had heard his car go I ran to his room. I opened his laptop and went through his messages. My jaw dropped when I saw a horrific thing no daughter should see on her fathers laptop. My jaw dropped. I went rummaging through his draws. I found multiple letters in there. They were all threatening ones addressed to Mum. I put them all back and went back to his laptop. I opened up documents. He had it all planned out. Every letter was there. He stalked my mother. He is the reason she is dead. I close the window programme and slam the screen shut. My body froze, I must get out of here. I walked down the steps and went to open the front door. My car was gone. I went to the garage and looked and found Dads. I looked for the keys. He took them. He knew I would try and get away. I ran other to the home phone. I called Luke's mobile. The phone beeped and someone picked up. "Hello" Luke answered "Luke its me Mackenzie, I need your help. My dad-" The line cut off. He hung up on me. I called Calum's mobile, no-one picked up. I tried the main home phone. Ashton picked up "Hello" He said "Hi Ashton" I said taking a deep breath "Mackenzie" He said in confusion "Are you okay?" He said concerned. "No I need your help" I said crying into the phone. "Ill get Luke" I interrupted "No please don't. He hung up on me before" Ashton took a breath in "Okay whats wrong" I breathed out "Okay so" I stopped I heard my Dads car pull in "Ill call you later" I said hanging up the line the phone beeping. I put the phone down. And ran over to the couch and sat there looking normal. "Dinner" My Dad called opening the door carrying to tubes of Chinese food. "Yum" I said standing up running over to the kitchen. "Hey Dad can I ask you something?" I asked grabbing two forks. "Sure" He said placing the two noodle cartoons on the bench "So why was Mum stalked?" I asked wanting to know why he did it. He looked at me. I thought he might have yelled at me. "Well I don't actually know darling. Why do you want to know?" I shrugged my shoulders "I just wondered thats all" He smiled "Thats okay darling. Now lets eat!" He said pushing my cartoon to me. I smiled "Thanks" Passing him his fork. You dirty liar I thought to myself.

-Luke POV-
"Was that Mackenzie?" I ask Ashton who stood at the phone shaking. He nodded "Just ignore her" I said walking over to him and tapping him on the shoulder. "Shes in trouble Luke" He said looking me in the eyes "Are you sure?" I said placing my hand on the bench. Ashton nodded "Yes, she said she needed to talk. Her father obviously came into the room and she hung up" Shit. I rubbed my hand through my hair "She rang me before but I hung up" I said panicking. "Anything could have happened to her" I say stuttering. "Calm down Luke! She will ring back" Ashton says. I nod I hope so. Calum and Michael bowl in the door carrying 3 boxes of pizza. "Pizza!" Michael screams. "We need to talk" Ashton says grabbing the home phone and sitting at the table. I sat next to him. Calum and Michael both sit at the table looking shocked. Neither of them saying a word.

-Mackenzie POV-
We finished our noodles. I take Dads empty cartoon and put it in the rubbish with mine. "I might go to the pub" He says standing up. I nod "Okay, can I please use your laptop for watching movies?" I ask lying not actually wonting to watch movies. He nodded "Sure but only to watch movies" He said grabbing his jacket and keys. Both sets of keys. There is truly no attempts of getting away. "Ill be back around 12:45 or 12:00" he said kissing me on the check making his way to the door. I smile "Okay" He smiles "Bye honey" Closing the door behind him. I check the time 8:32. Plenty of time I thought to myself. I grab the home phone and run upstairs. I watched Dads car disappear.
