Alya, Marinette, Adrien, and Nino walk into History. The girls sit in the second row and the boys in the front row, Adrien slides a note to Nino.

I need to talk to you after school.

The bell rings, Nino nods and places the note in his backpack.

"Good Morning class," Mr. Babineaux greets.

"Good Morning Mr. Babineaux," the class says.

"Now, can anyone tell me what happened on May 5, 1789?"

Nobody raises their hand except Adrien.

"Mr. Agreste?"

"That was the day the citizens of Paris started the French Revolution."

Marinette stares at the perfect boy she has a crush on for one second before Alya gently ribs her out of her daydream.

"Can anyone tell me what Paris landmark was destroyed during the ten year war?"

Once again Adrien raises his hand.

"Yes, Mr. Agreste?"

"The Notre-Dame Cathedral," Adrien responds correctly.

"Smarty," Lila says.

"Lila, this is no place to be mean to others," Mr. Babineaux says.

"I'm sorry, I forgot to take my Turrets medication today," Lila lies.

Marinette's face turns red until she hears a voice.

"Mr. Babineaux, I would like to point out that today is the first day Lila has claimed Turrets and if she had Turrets she would have done this in other classes as Turrets is genetic and doesn't randomly appear even with medication they can still have symptoms," Max says.

"You are right Max, Lila this is no place to make false claims about disabilities, one more outburst and you will be sent to the principal."

Lila doesn't argue but slouches in her seat and crosses her arms, angry that she was figured out.

"Mr. Babineaux what does the Cathedral have to do with history?" Chloe asks.

"Because Chloe, if we don't learn from history we are doomed to repeat it," Mr. Babineaux says.

"What does that mean?" Chloe says in a snobby tone.

"It means if we don't learn from the mistakes of the past we can make them again," Adrien says.

"Whatever, I never make the same mistake twice," Chloe says self centered.

"Can someone tell me what the Cathedral represents?" Mr. Babineaux says.

Max raises his hand.

"Yes, Max," Mr. Babineaux says.

"It represents Catholicism, the major religion of France," Max stands up.

"Yes, but that isn't the answer I wanted," Mr. Babineaux responds.

Marinette thinks for a second then raises her hand.

"Yes, Ms. Dupain-Cheng?"

"Notre-Dame represents hope," Marinette says.

"Exactly," Mr. Babineaux says.

Adrien turns and gives her a smile.

Marinette blushes.

"Why would some religious building represent hope?" Chloe asks.

"And why are we even talking about hope?" Lila says.

"Because, Hawk Moth is taking Paris into a time of fear and the best way to conquer fear is to have hope," Adrien says.

"Whatever," Lila says flicking her hair.

Mr. Babineaux brings the class back to order and spends the rest of the period talking about the French Revolution.

The bell rings and it is time for lunch.
